It's not a mythology question :green: (btw I don't know...I just know Schliemann and Troy...)

Daedalus committed a murder as the legend says. Who did he kill in Crete and how?

(the answer for my question was Arthur Evans......
Minos Kalokairinos was the first to excavate in 1878 but he was stopped by the Turkish landowners)

as about Daidalos the only i know is that he was held responsible for the murder of Calos (he feared that with his talents might surpass him.)

now a question about Zeus

Who was the daughter Zeus had with Metis ?

I know that answer, but I don't remember exactly her name. It was a sorceress (not Circe, though). I think her name was Medea, but I'm not 100% sure. I'll have to wait for Aegis_Strife's confirmation... 8)

I believe her name was Demeter and she was the goddess
of grain and fertility.
That makes Persephone daughter of Demeter and Zeus.

I think Zeus was the father of Teseus, and he was killed by his own son.

Yeap, Theseus' father was Aegeus. Aegeus commited suicide, hurled himself into the sea. Theseus died as Sophie said.

How was Hercules' fisrt human victim?

In a frenzy, he killed his children. To atone for this crime, he was sentenced to perform a series of "Labors" (for Eurystheus)

Hephaestus was the father of the murderer, Periphetes. Who eventually killed him?

Very interesting! This is a story about Aegeus and Theseus is also
mentioned there. Also there is different version out there, who was
Theseus father. The other story says it was Poseidon.

Heracles' first kill was his music teacher, Linus (brother of Orpheus / Orfeas). Linus was criticising Heracles of not playing the lyre good enough and Herclules flew into a rage and slew him with a blow of the lyre.

Yes, that's why the sea around east Greece has the name of Aegian Sea!

About Aigeus's death Tavlaras has right!!!

It was like Theseus went to kill the Mynotauros in Crete, it's Okay but after killing it annnd saving the beautiful virgins too (guess if they remained virgins on the ship back home ) he forgot something his father told: to change the ship's black sail into white. Aegius was waiting for the ship annnd when he saw it comes with the black sail (what he supposed to mean his son is dead) he jumped from the cliff into the sea so his son who returned in victory could only embrace his dead body on the shore.

Annd he has also right with Heracles's first victim.

My turn:

How did Orion die?

Annnd bonus question: Can you see this story somewhere today when you have nothing with you and you are out on the field in a winter night? (I'm curious if you knew this but I'm not sure if you could follow my logic in this question - very hard annnd it's out of mythology bounds  )
