As we approach the end of the year- Here's a little factoid you may have never thought about.... Next time you sit down to play a game of cards, give it a look.

There are 52 standard cards in a deck.
There are 52 weeks in a year.

There are two colors of cards in a standard deck. Red and Black.
There are two phases of the day- Sunlight and darkness.

There are four suits in a deck- Diamonds, Hearts, Clubs and Spades.
There are four seasons in a year- Winter Spring Summer and Fall.

There are thirteen cards per suit.
There are thirteen phases in a lunar year.

There are twelve court cards (jacks, queens & Kings) in a deck.
There are twelve months in a year.

AND...

If you add up all the values of all the cards in the deck (13 for kings, 12 for queen etc) plus the single standard Joker (counted as 1), the result is 365.
