No, you are quite right, he didn't. Take my comment as more of a generalisation than a direct accusation, kay?

Americans aren't really any more open-minded than anybody else, in general... in areas like New York City, Boston and San Fransisco people tend to be more tolerant and cosmopolitan. In the country and especially the South, you can find some pretty close-minded and hateful people. Brokeback Mountain was boycotted by some theaters here upon its release for "religious" reasons (which is ridiculous when you think about the sexual/violent content in other films).

Personally, I thought it was a very well-done movie, and I thought the sex scene was very tastefully done. I couldn't really see any reason to walk out unless you were totally disgusted by the idea to begin with...

Another imaginary situation: there is one lesbian girl. And you know what? She's afraid to go to any bar because she's pretty attractive and manymany guys around try to get her to sleep with them. Now that's unpleasant.

I didn't say that, but you know, it all depends on the theory. You'd better ask Mike, not me :P

as the ppl who really knows me from the forum can say im right ...RIGHT?? :tw:
Sometimes its funny to read about it all , what ppl thinks and see all different points of view
Im not a person who yells in every corner "heeey im lesbian"

Im very happy with myself
im very happy with my gf

Even between straight ppl exists those kind of situations !!

i mean
its not only gay ppl who does that ..
I think if someday some gay guy might tell you he likes you .. its coz Think about it
We are persons, just like you
and sometimes we fall in love or like someone who is out of our reach ..
for diferent reasons , coz he/she has a gf, married, dont like us .. etc etc etc

you know??
i think we all go through that someday
and we all TRY to gain something with that person anyhow .. if we cant then its allright

some ppl see gays as we are different.. owww poor them they say ..

but why poor us ?? hehehe if we are happy just like this

anyyyyway i think i said too much .. hihi

Oh boy, I'm not even sure how far in depth I want to go into this one. All I can really say right now is, from someone who's lived in one of the most liberal cities in the country (San Francisco) and one of the most conservative (Dallas) for many years each, and now in Louisiana, I'd have to respectfully disagree with your analyzation and pass it off and nothing more than the typical stereotypes east and west-coasters judge "southerners" by.

All of my relatives in California still think I live way out in middle of nowhere on a ranch, herding sheep or some shit, and my main means of transportation is horseback and carriage. How ridiculous is that?

I'm actually willing to bet you've never even been to the south.

I wonder the same thing that you do , i mean We are all human beings,We all have a heart, mind and soul , wich is that matters after all .. Not whats OUTSIDe (in this case would be if we are Man or Woman )
anyway ..The world would be alot better if everybody would understand that ..I live in a country where there are loads of "machos" you know what i mean?
that they think woman shouldnt work, they dont know a shit of techology etc etc .. and its irritable!!

And hm that movie you say no .. i dont know wich one it is . . Is it some independent film or something like that??

The absolutely necessary condition for each one's own existence is the sexual intercourse of a man and a woman.
