Dus je moet perse ontopic blijven in offtopic :-?
Offtopic is er toch juist voor om dom te lullen?
Voor de serieuze mensen die alleen dingen over The Gathering willen weten is het Nederlandse forum toch voldoende?

Een forum is er niet om domweg wat te lullen of onzin te posten.
Een chatroom of MSN/ICQ is daarvoor geschikter lijkt mij.

Op een forum moet het het liefst wel inhoudelijk over iets gaan. En dat hoeven heus niet allemaal discussies over TG te zijn. Er zijn zoveel andere leuke onderwerpen waarover TG fans onderling graag praten...

Beste Martijn,

Ik vind het echt ontzettend jammer dat je werkelijk op alle slakken zout moet leggen. EIndelijk na zoveel jaar is deze forum gezellig/spontaan. Vele discussies zijn gaande, serieuze maar ook onzinnige. Waarom toch dat zogenaamde slow chat (zoals jij dat noemt)? Omdat het harstikke leuk is wat de volgende dag reacties zullen zijn van de andere mensen, heb je iets om naar uit te kijken. Punt twee: je bent niet snel uitgepraat (wat op de chat wel is) mede hierdoor bouw je vriendschap op. Punt 3: het is toch ontspanning voor sommige onder ons.

Het is dat ik zo weinig tijd heb om mee te doen met deze forum, anders was ik net zo gezellig mee aan het doen met de rest.

Martijn, waarom heb je anders off-topic gemaakt voor die discussies, de zogenaamde slap gepraat wat niet op TG slaat? Waarom moet je toch OOK HIER WEER op door zeuren? Sorry dat ik het zeg, maar heb je niks te doen? Of omdat je nu de 'baas' bent van deze geweldige forum? Waarom moet je nou weer meer moderators instellen om die zogenaamde bij off-topic discussies die volgens jou weer te off-topic zijn in stukken splitsen?

En nog iets, bepaal jij voor deze mensen dat ze maar moeten MSNen of ICQen? En bepaal jij ook wat ze WEL OF NIET MOGEN ZEGGEN? BEn jij werkelijk helemaal van het potje gerukt? Dit werkt niet Martijn.

Martijn, voordat je beslissing neemt, denk eerst na wat de consequenties kunnen zijn.
en wat betreft voor die mensen die klagen bij jou, dat off-topic weer te off-topic zijn, zij zijn gewoon GROTE ZEURDERS, die werkelijk op alles moeten zeuren, omdat ze vervelen ofzo. Dat je daar gehoor aan geeft.

en wat ik nog meer wil zeggen: als je topics nog weer gaat onderverdelen in nieuwe topics: hoe onoverzichtelijk zal 't dan wel niet voor jou en ons worden? dus: laat nou maar wat 't is, 't gaat net zo goed met 't nederlandse forum

En dit forum staat op een The Gathering fansite, dus met afwijkend wordt bedoelt wat anders dan TG, maar wel gewoon vragen, antwoorden, discussies, meningen enz. (dus geen onzin, chatten) :)

Met een off-topic forum wordt niet bedoeld dat het gewenst is dat je binnen de topics op dat forum het niet mag hebben over de desbetreffende topic titels :wink:

Maar misschien moet ik eens nadenken over een geschiktere naam voor het forum, omdat 'off-topic' onduidelijkheid geeft.

Ik stel voor om het off-topic forum te splitsen in:
- De Huiskamer (klets maar raak).
- Other topics (dus niet-TG topics, maar wel een beetje te volgen/gestructureerd allemaal)

Daarmee heeft de 'harde kern' een plekje om continu door te kletsen (hangplek? ;) ) en kunnen off topic threads met een topic wat meer on-topic blijven :green:
