Hey easy.. Martijn was busy like hell between jobs and moving houses... And keep in mind he's hosting this forum totally free... I know it's shite.. i also have to face the forum not responding whiel Iwant to spread a newsitem or whatever important regarding the band...
but be patient... if it doesnt work when you want it, and you try one hour later it's ok most of the time...

just hope when I want to post the annoucement of teh wbeshop everything goes fine ;)

the forum is always like shite the past 3 months or more. it just happens to get lucky and post from time to time. it's the slowest and most annoying page ever,alla these months. Jesus,finally something must be done..

Well this problem is affecting everyone as it seems, ive spoken to feedback and he offered to host the forum in a special server, could that help???? i can ask him about it if he is still into the idea.

I have had the same problem from time to time. Sometimes I can go for a couple of weeks no problem, then have trouble for several hours.or longer.I know when I was planning my trip to Mexico to see the band I ran into the most problems .I am glad Preacher posted something about it because I thought it was just me having problems.

He told me the same thing so maybe it is worth getting in contact with Feedback to see what the possibilities are.
It had been okay for some time but lately it is getting worse again... :-?
And I realise it is all volentary and time consuming so I am not complaining, just stating there's a problem with the current server and always has been in my opnion...

I have a dinosaur computer and it runs ok most of the time, only sometimes it's slow. If I try a modern pc, I get in trouble... :green:

It first I thought it was a bit better but unfortunatly it isn't.... :-?
Sometimes I get the requested page within a second but mostly I have to wait between 10 and 30 seconds before it appears.
I would say the server is just not able to handle the traffic it is getting. :o

indeed to me it's a server problem... :(
and migrating to another server involves a risk to not be able to recover all the data (that's what happen when the forum migrated from Hans Nagtegaal to Martijns server for those who remember)
I hope your provider can fix that.. cause deffo to me migrating the forum to some other place is really the last option I would choose

Having same problem here.

Once i migrated a forum like this one to another server, and i was able to save all the info, but its a lot of work. I used an online aplication -dont remember the name- to move the DB... it was easy, but as i said, its a lot of work

If that happens to me I push the refresh button again after the slow page is loaded. It solves my speed problem most of the times.

Yesterday was the worst it's been in weeks... I've gotten used to the occasional error screen every day, but yesterday it just crapped out on me. And of course it's always slow. This server has turned out to be really bad news for some reason.
