I can't manage to change my signature. Whatever text i put,or i shorten it,it keeps saying the characters are far more than what actually is...

I had a problem today too. tried to update the text in my signature but it said the image dimensions were not correct. wasn't able to submit the changes too.

I thought the IMG functions didn't work. but actually, the problem came from my picture only. I even tried to post it in a regular message but it was the same. it didn't work for the same reason.

so i erased it and reuploaded it (the same size picture from my computer) with imageshack and now it works! weird but solved.


if one day this happens to you, you can follow this trick without changing your image properties.

WTF. The sig I have now is much higher.
I checked and my sig is 212 high. If I change it, it has to be 150 high.
The one I want to change it to is about 220 high. Is not very high.

Burn can you allow our sigs to be a decent height? Like 250max? My lastfm sig is much higher than 150. I just want to replace that one with one of comparable size. It won't let me.

I think a picture size of about 150 pixels is fine for signatures. When a signature height of 250 would be allowed, then this size would be too large compared to the message of the post itself. In my opinion, the message/text of a post is more important (and should in general be larger) than the profile+signature fields.

Ok, but what is odd is the picture in my sig right now is 212 high. Maybe I'll keep it, then. LOL

I didn't face any difficulties in signature, it is very rare cases members facing this issue always but it can be solved any ways, I think the problem is solved.
