It doesn't sound like all the other albums. Not in the least cos there's already 2, maybe even 3 major changes in their style in the first batch. One between My Arms.. and Still Life and the Damnation/Deliverance doublewhopper is different from those earlier 5 albums. They found a groove they didn't have before which I noticed the last time I saw them live.

I heard only the first track of the new album, but it seems closest to Deliverance and Damnation in one.

I've now heard bits of the whole album. Hmm! Question: after Deliverance and Damnation, which way would they go? Heavy/dark/bleak or progressive? Answer: both ways? That's my first thought.

...and was a bit disappointing. Just because it was sooooo damnnnnnnnn short.
They played 5 (4+1) songs: Deliverance, The Drapery Falls, To Rid The Disease, The Grand Conjuration + The Demon Of the Fall.
It was because of Lopez...he couldn't come (because of the illnessI've heard about once I guess) so a Swedish guy was doin' the drums.
Btw it sounded great. Butr short.
Opeeeeth

I thought Martin Lopez was on medication, and the problem was under control. :-?

the guy who drummed was the Bloodbath drummer btw.
manager said Lopez will be OK in September as it seems.
