Devin Townsend is cool :)
Lately the last male voice I've been very touched by was Ronny Drew's :green: An Irish voice with 40 years with Whiskey behind!

Hmmm, a few people have mentioned Virgin Black, I didn't know they were so well known outside Australia. Anyway, I'd recommend the following vocalists:

Simen Hestnaes (Borknagar, Dimmu Borgir, Arcturus)
Garm (Ulver, Borknagar, Arcturus)
Quorthon (Bathory)
Vintersorg (Borknagar, Vintersorg, Havayoth)

Simen has the most amazing singing voice in metal, though I generally prefer Blackened vocals ;)

I loooooooooove Garm's voice... I have that Kveldssanger album or whatever with all the acoustic songs and its AMAZING, but I can't find any other albums where he sings even close to that much. Any suggestions?

I'm checking out some of the other bands and I really like some of them :D thanks guys!

He sings beautifully in A Life All Mine, but you already know that. ;) Nevertheless, you should really listen excerpts from Blood Inside, the new Ulver album. He sings INCREDIBLE.

(So, a year ago I only had Perdition City. Funny, now I'm only missing two albums and I'll have them all )

Simen Hestnæs is doing vocals for Arcturus' current tour. He also sang in La Masquerade Infernale.
