Gåte is the bomb. I wrote this little ditty about them a long time ago.

The 2 tracks you linked are rather old, they improved a lot since then. Check out Jygri and the EP.

Waw the voice of the first song makes me think a lot of Eilera's voice!!

Gåte are just great!!! I saw them live a year ago, here in Norway and I could just freeze there in front of the scene and listen...made some nice pix too Dont´t you think Norwegian sounds beautiful there?

Tell me more about Gåte...in which album are this 2 songs? how are the others songs?..are all the lyrics in norwegian language?..is it true that the singer is 16 old?

Good evening,

I have listened to Gate and I really like them. Now I want to buy some records of them but it seems to be hard to find a mailorder, selling it in Europe (more exactly: Germany). I just found http://www.cdon.com, problem is that they only accept paying with credit card and I don't have one. So, I would be very thankfully if someone knows another way/mailorder/company to buy it.
