as far as i'm not concerned (cause not a Lacuna Coil fan too and not offended when my friends say bad things about my music... learned to be used to it),
i'd rather be annoying than being annoyed (that is the case for most of untolerant people), right?

@lordhong
No I’m not Nightwish fan either, never was and if I were then I would participate in Nightwish forum not here.

Senzafine used to be a certainty in every set, but they've not done it at festivals this year so maybe it won't feature in sets anymore :(
Last time I saw them the UM song they did was When A Dead Man Walks, which surprised me a bit as I expected Senzafine or maybe 1.19. But it was a nice surprise :D

Thank god we have the videos on You Tube nowadays seeing that now they won't perform the good oldies

Maybe that's a bad photo but who doesn't have a bad photo? All my photos are bad! If you at least said something bad about not liking the band's music or maybe you saw Cristina at a festival and she treated you like shit....then I can understand. But just to post something about a person's look or ect makes no sense.

Cristina is much more beautiful in person/video. Check these out:

The UK tour starts tonight at Portsmouth. I wish I could be there. I will be joining it on Wednesday though at Nottingham. And then on to Manchester, London (14th) and then Sheffield! 8)

A bit of news here...

4. Our Truth (previously unreleased live track)
5. Heaven's A Lie (previously unreleased live track)

+ Enhancement:

* Photo Gallery (making of the 'Closer' video)

And the limited picture vinyl:

The vinyl will include the following tracks:
1. Closer (exclusive radio/video mix and edit)
2. Closer (exclusive acoustic version)

The single will be released on the following dates:
U.K - Monday, October 16, 2006.
Finland - Wednesday, October 18, 2006.
Italy - Friday, October 20, 2006.
Germany - Friday, October 27, 2006.

The video can be viewed on: mms://mp3.centurymedia.com/stream/lacun ... closer.wmv

Failing that, it's also on the official LC MySpace page - below, in my sig.

I really like the video. Makes me want to get the popcorn out.... the toffee sort! :green:

is this closer vinyl another uk thing? i still want the our truth picture disc but i dont want to pay like 20 usd to import it. i find it hard to justify paying that much when i can get the whole karmacode for less. did anyone ever see one for sale in the us? i saw the karmacode 12" but not the picture disc. and why dont they release fragile as a single, its the best song on karmacode.

I'm not sure... I know they UK is only getting the vinyl not the CD so maybe other places will get the CD not the vinyl.

I saw them in Portsmouth last Friday, and tomorrow and Saturday I'll be at the London gigs :green:

The UK tour dates that I went to were simply Fantastic. The whole stage perfomance had really stepped up quite a few gears since the last time I saw them play a full show, last October. Lacuna Coil have become so much tighter as a band, more in tune with one another and the energy coming off them and bouncing back from the crowd was Incredible. There also seemed to be more movement between the guitarists as they swopped around and also took centre stage for the odd guitar solo.

The Karmacode songs proved to be so much bigger live than on disc. I really enjoyed hearing the newer songs, especially my favourites from the album... In Visible Light, You Create / What I See, Fragments Of Faith and To The Edge. I was never a fan of Closer before. To me it was the worst song on the album, but after hearing it live and getting on down and strutting the 'Closer Dance', it has changed my opinion around completely. We had so much fun with that song and it became a big highlight of the shows and will be something to remember and giggle about for some time to come.

It was also good to hear some of the songs that you'd expect to hear, such as Swamped and Heaven's A Lie, and found that they sounded as fresh, if not fresher than all the previous times performed.

Virtual Environment sounds absolutely stonking live. That was definitely another highlight for me, as was 1:19.

The setlist changed slightly for the London show at Kings College. They also played an additional acoustic set there and we got to hear Within Me which was very dreamy and gorgeous. They performed an acoustic version of Closer too which was rather different, but worked really well.
There was no barrier at this London show. It was a very small venue and was to be a more intimate show for the tour. I was right underneath Cristina and it couldn't have gotten any more intimate for me than the view I got there, not to mention the odd sweat shake. :)

The band's outfits were very cool too. Cristina and Andrea in black & white with the LC ties, looking very smart and sexy. Andi's tie was tugged on playfully and teasingly by Cristina on occasion during the dramatic vocal interplay of Entwined and In Visible Light. The rest of the guys were in pinstripe shirts with the ties. Very smart look indeed and it added more to the visual show, not to mention the masks that Criz, Marco and Maus wore, complete with static poses throughout the intro of the show. Awesome!

Poisonblack supported and I enjoyed their set more and more as the tour went on.

I took a fair few photos and I have most on a slideshow on my MySpace (down below) if anybody's interested.

Hopefully it'll not be too long before they tour here again (got to be next year, surely). I had such a great time on this tour and miss it so.

A few of my pics from the Santa Cruz show, and a link to all my pics.

Santa Cruz California November 30th, 2006. Blackest Of The Black tour. Danzig cancelled but Lacuna Coil, The Haunted, and Belphegor, ripped up the fucking stage that night. Was a great night for me. :)
