ok,i went to the lacuna coil concert in london astoria on saturday, and i was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
disappointed.it was suprisingly bad.the other times i'd seen them, they were great and unforgetable.
this year=wrong songs, cristina was so acting it seems like she's been taking classes,it was too short, the band seemed in a rush and it all felt very fake.i liked the start when they played the haloween song from 'nightmare before christmas', but ...i dunno-they didn't play one song from in a reverie!!!at some points,i was just bored.they seemed so comercial, such a huge change to last year's performance...

anyone else see them recently?what did you think?

I've seen them two months ago and they were amazing.
I don't nkow how you found them changed and the setlist was almost the same on both Astoria shows this year and last year !
only two or three songs have changed...!

hmmm despite I found Comalies very weak compared to Unleashed, I had enjoyed their last performance in Paris...
Now I wonder if I'll see them for I'm not sure I'll still enjoy + they tour with Moonspell whose I don't like Darkness & Hope and haven't heard a single note form the Antidote...

I've only seen them live once with Tiamat in March 2003 and I found them surprisingly good. Without me not being any kind of big fan of them, they managed to impress me a lot with their whole performance.

seconding, I think the same
Ive seen them twice, once in feb'01 with ToT and Lacuna Coil were great!!!! I loved that show and Cristina rocks but....
the second one was...er... november'02 (with senteced :-? and blackshine) ... they didnt play one song from In a Reverie, only 35 minutes and done. They seemed comercial and I was about to die because of the boredom :o one of the worst shows Ive ever been. Well, Natalie Solgala - Kaz has written my feellings exactly

yeah,i mean it was just really wierd because they seemed like a totally different band.i mean if the band has changed and is moving on,thats fine, but this gig was just wrong (for me).
maybe next time they'll be better, but its kind of put me off.

Were the guys wearing dresses? They seem to think it's cool, but I think it's rather dumb looking. "Oh, look at us, we're men in black dresses while our singer is in a white dress! We're soooo fashionable. Except for that small bulge in Andrea's dress... that's just disturbing." ugh.

I liked them when I saw them back in 99, but that was a long time ago, haven't seen them since. The albums are decent though. Anything to do with a bulge on a skirt, however is just wrong and disturbing. Especially on New Year's Eve. Happy New Year everyone!

Wow - that's short. :o

As for Lacuna Coil, I myself enjoyed Unleashed Memories (and the Halflife EP) a lot, but that was before I found TG. After that I simply haven't felt like listening to it a lot. I still like the album when I do listen to it, though. But what I have listened Comalies I haven't liked it at all. :(

I saw them yesterday for the new year during 1h10...and it was so great. I am so happy because they have played Cold Heritage, one of my favorite song of Lacuna Coil.
It was really a great new year with Moonspell, Lacuna Coil and Poisonblack... :D

That is one amazing song... Again, I envy you people who live in countries these bands tend to play.

they were incredible when I saw them in AZ, they were very tight and the vocal harmonies were dead on, I was highly impressed
