so did i...

it was my fave concert ever...

I still remember the temperature @ Club Dunois... the place was so small and I was so hot!!....

a good atmosphere.

the setlists were pretty cool.

I "touched" Liv and Cristina 's hands for the very first time... i felt warm vibrations... and really happy this time... :D

there was also Beseech band.

a great moment for me... which i 'll never forget. :flower:

There's a very interesting thread about Liv's attitude regarding ToTat the Theatre of Tragedy Message Board.

I think that the Leave's eyes album is great...Better than everything TOT have done after Aegis.

I agree, Aegis wasn't as plain as Leave's Eyes.

Have you heard Seven by ToT? They're using 7/8. :o

I agree that the Leaves' Eyes album (Lovelorn) is great, but I don't really want to compare it with ToT. It's quite different, and one of the differences is that there's more variety in both Liv's singing and the instrumentation. I feel that ToT had Liv pinned down in a particular role, and her departure from ToT - however unexpected (not least to her, according to the Leaves' Eyes website) - is probably no bad thing as far as she's concerned.

If by "plain" you mean that Lovelorn is more accessible than Aegis, then I'd agree. You only have to compare the lyrics, never mind the music.

Two rather different albums, I think.

Unexpected departure?! She moved to Germany. How would she rehearse and record with ToT?

uhmmm in my opinion... Liv's voice is great, it's a little bit different she has her own style and that's a good thing... Leave's Eyes album is awsome, I love Into Your Light and For Amelie and lots of more songs, I loved it indeed.... and... I really don't think she looks like a whore  actually I loved the leather dress :( and the video is a little bit boring but I loved it anyway, all the colours and else..... and... well that's all =P .... AEGIS rocks my world, as well as Theatre Of Tragedy - Theatre Of Tragedy =P

Well, first let's see what they can offer with this new singer, then, we'll judge their new material.

Personally, Liv has a great voice, and altough she's no longer in ToT you can hear her in her new band (although in my opinion Leaves eyes CD is really bad, boring and less impressive than ToT -and it has a really bad production/sounds cheap-).

Nell's voice sounds just ok. Yeah, Liv sounds better, but hey, bands evolve.

The two demos I've heard in the official website souns just ok. I have not been surprised as I was when I get Assembly or any of their works.

I am waiting for the new album. I hope it will be better than the last two... :)

Anyone have Liv's solo album? pop/gothic. VERY awesome. Not heavy at all but absolutely beautiful. One of my favorites.

Ha-ha. Good point. Well, they could have met up somewhere in between.

So what do you make of the new Elís album, Dark Clouds in a Perfect Sky, which is produced by Alexander Krull? I think that in places, not only does this album sound like Lovelorn, but Alexander has managed to make Sabine Dünser sound quite like Liv.

Damn it, that's true? I haven't listened to Elis' new material, and I wouldn't like find another Lovelorn...

no, that's not true :)

their music are absolutely different. Only the lead singers voices seem to sound similar on some songs.

anyway, Liv rules!!
