I loooooooooove Garm's voice... I have that Kveldssanger album or whatever with all the acoustic songs and its AMAZING, but I can't find any other albums where he sings even close to that much. Any suggestions?

I'm checking out some of the other bands and I really like some of them :D thanks guys!

Yes, indeed FNM and Mike Patton, undoubtedly the best male vocalist of rock music. I know it's a heavy statement, but hey: I could say the same about Anneke regarding female vocalists and none of you would make a sound ;)

Anyway, Patton can use his voice in so different ways I just can't believe. Just listen to, for example, Evidence, King for a day and Cuckoo for caca in a row. And those ones are even on the same album.

You guys forgot to mention Arcturus! :o I found them on accident thanks to The End Records' Label page on their mailorder site. Amazing! Any other bands Trickster G sings in?

A lot of the other bands are truly excellent too :)

Nine Inch Nails people! Reznor is God!

@Kain's D Kveldssanger is one of Ulvers early albums, hmm the second or something... on this album they went away from playing BM that sounded like your average washingmachine with a dozen kittens inside, to experimenting with accoustic "viking campfireish" songs... it's OK, but Ulver didn't really do it for me until their next release "The marriage of heaven and hell" which I am sure you have heard of.

Check out Rozz Williams from Christian Death, he used to have a beautiful voice as well.

 No.

Thanks for the info. I've only read about Ulver but it cost me a lot of effort to get Perdition City last October (despite the album was already 3 years old :-? ). It's quite hard to get stuff from the band here (Mexico). Got no credit card so no internet CD orders for me. :(

Yeah men don't belong in metal as vocalists..even though thats basically all there is. I listen to some of them, but females just sound better with them types of music.

Devin Townsend! Of course I don't mean SYL albums, I mean Ocean Machine, Infinity and Terria. He is definetly the best metal male vocalist in the world
