I just wanted to say how much I love this band. They are my #2. Some here don't like them, but I love them!.
At last I got to see them 3 times on the Hottest chicks in metal tour, and then when they came back to do headline shows. Not only are they an INCREDIBLE live band, They are really nice like The Gathering, and Sharon might be the kindest band member that I've ever met. Never had anyone in a big group like that, do anything as kind, as when Sharon offered me her cold medicine when I was sick waiting in line for 8 hours. After driving all night coming back from seeing Katatonia in LA the night before.

Maybe WT and The Gathering can tour in the US together in 2010. Like the show in Seattle! :green:

I think they were great right up to Mother Earth. Their last two albums were ok and the BS DVD was an Epic fail. At least to me because of the swooshing camera angles. Still a good band.

I love the last album. The only album I don't think is great is the Silent Force.
I love the DVD. I just wish the bluray was also NTSC for US DVD PLAYERS!

I don't listen to them that much these days, but I still love them. I think all of their albums are good and have their own unique atmosphere, but I like the latest album least of all because imo it lacks innovation. And in addition, they're great live.

Only the first album and Ep are good -at least for me-. The rest is pure crap.

Somehow I've missed this thread, but it's so amusing - especially the death threats. As for people singing off-key, Siouxsie Sioux has made a career out of it. If you doubt me, listen to Seven Year Itch, the live album released in 2003. When church bells warble, they get sent back to the foundry to be melted down. When Siouxsie warbles, we all applaud.

Oh, and I haven't heard WT play live.
