What do you think about this experimental industrial band?
Personally, i love it.
This band have some real masterpieces like The Fragile, The downward Spiral, and the last album, With Teeth.

I have seen some users with NIN's signatures or avatars, i hope they answer my question about the group, because i think the gathering fans doesn't like too much NIN :-?

cheers  :P

hmm i dont know but when some people who dont know TG before and like NIN , when i give them to listen some of TG albums (htmap?, if then else, or bld)really like it , and I tried TG when i realized that somewhere is the band who likes people who listening Paradise lost, NIN, DEPECHE MODE .
i think that between NIN and TG are some kind of conections .
both of them dont try to play music for everyone , they experiment a lot with "rock " music and both them truly care about details

I like NIN, too, but was disappointed in the last CD. The Fragile was my favorite!
I do think they have long been using the same 'type' of sound... there hasn't been a great deal of artistic evolution, except maybe that it got more intricate for The Fragile. But not necessarily that different.

that's true, but i think nin still make great music, In the same style but great anyway.
I have to recognize, i was disappointed with the last cd too, but whatever, "Beside you in time" and "Right where it belongs" are awesome songs.

I couldn't see the music world without Trent. From NIN to the various soundtracks he's done. You simply can't say he's a "Skinny puppy or Jesus and the Mary Chain" rip-off either. He's a great artist in his own right. I curious to see how sobriety will affect him creatively in the years to come. Sure, the last album wasn't as strong as previous efforts but I think it was more of a stripped down transitional record rather than a bold statement like "Downward spiral".

NIN is one of my favorite bands - with TG, FNM, and Hooverphonic.

I think Trent is almost a genious and their master piece is The Donward Spiral - "hurt" is one of the most beautiful songs that i ever heard... I think is a very powerful and emotional disc.
Unlike some of you, i liked their last album very much... maybe is beecaus Dave Grohl worked on it, but is a very good CD.

Of course its not like the Donward or The Fragile, but is fantastic.
They played here in Brasil in the last november, and was one of the best concerts that i ever been to - but the TG gig was sooo much better!

WOW :o
I have the impression to read myself ! ! !
When I was younger, 10-15 years ago, FNM was my favourite band ( and "Angel Dust my fav album ) and I saw them plenty of times ( last time in dec. 1997 in Lille  )
I am a huge fan of NIN and especially " The Fragile " wich is one of my favourite album ever !
Hooverphonic, of course. Sweet, beautifull, powerfull music :flower:
I have a lot of stuff about them and have seen them many times but I live in Belgium so it's easier

And TG of course ... :green:

NIN says they will be here in Chile, but the gig was cancelled...
I felt so sad, because i love NIN, and when I knew about the possibility they come here, I was so excited... so happy... :(
That was a horrible new, but the producers have all the fault, i know, Trent wants to come, but he can't.
The explanation was they couln't come because to bring all the instruments and things here is very expensive.
Whatever, all the chileans fans are sad u_U.

But TG gig was amazing!!! :D :P
