I'm impressed with the new album. It's a good trip. I've never seen them live but would love to someday.

I got the new cd and i think its.. different. the feel of it is so odd. i think 'Vicarious' and 'Jambi' are excellent tracks. other than that, i don't like any of the other songs really.

hehe thjat was sooo f*ng great!!! I was at a festival several days ago and there played also Motörhead :green:

Guess what music came out of the loudspeakers before that 3 ugly r&rollers walked up the stage :green:
The album 10.000 Days. I guess no biker understood what they heard since they fail with headbanging even for 2/4 stimes :tw:
I runned and fighted hastily into the first row to catch Rosetta Stoned, only 3-4 big leather-wearing rocker wanted to kill me :o :-? :green: Huhh was a real adventure 8)

10k days = huge disapointment.

It's been a while since I've given it a listen, maybe I should pop it back in the player....but I'd rather pop in the new Muse regardless...

10k days is worthless.

Hell, Opiate > 10k days.

Salival blows it away w/out competition.

It feels as if they rushed and halfassed this album because they suddenly realized the unwritten mandatory Tool law of 5 years "between albums" deadline was fast approaching.

The album is pathetic, and this is coming from a 10 year hardcore Tool fanatic.

They didnt even have a legal dispute with their label as an excuse on this one. How f'ing f'd up is that f'ing g*damn s*it?

Anyone share my sentiment? For crying out loud, just listen to it!

Listen to 10k days, then listen to Aenima or Lateralus.

Then realize how ass 10k days truely is. It's not difficult.

That said, it would be great to see Tool live still, even though their current effort is less newsworthy than the conception/birth of Britney Spears' 2nd child.

I agree that Aenima and lateralus are better but that doesn't mean that the new one sucks.ANyway,it's just my opinion and yours....

I also did a Tool-afternoon some days ago with the mentioned three albums, Zunic...I can't really share your opinion. Sounds a bit different but it's great! So well, I'm not disappointed. Pity you are.
But there's still that Muse for you

Blabbermouth say:
Quote:
TOOL intends to record some dates on its next North American tour for a live CD and DVD, according to Harddrive Radio.

That's cool.

There's an info page about the Festival (a Hungarian website) with connection to the organizers of the whole Festival. I haven't checked it on the official Tool site but they say on this site, it's sure they come. Well, mostly they don't put any information on that site which is not correct.

Tool just added Albany NY! I'm there. :green:

Give the new CD a chance. It's not the same Tool. They evolve with every album. This one took me a while to like, but now I love it. It's deep, angry, and sad. Melancholy and aggressive.
