I can't believe this band had no thread of its own here... i don't know how much people here know The White Birch but to me this band has release maybe the best album I bought in 2005!
It's when I heard Beauty King that I fell for the band. Their 2 last albums are absolute pearls!

They also know have a video clip online that is one of the most moving piece I've seen so far.

Once I listened to 'Come up for Air' LP... i may say it s really nice, quiet and touching. i remembered one of their songs reminding me of some Sigur Ros sounding.

I've just listened to "Beauty King". Very nice, very relaxing, very reflective somehow.

Thanks for the link Burn! I streamed some songs and really liked what I heard. The video for "Seer Believer" is very touching as well. I am defintely going to have to pick up their stuff when I get a chance. How is there live shows? (although I doubt they even come over to America. Just curious)

I saw them last wednesday for the first time. But it cannot be taken as their normal performance as they only played 45/50 minutes due to some delay during change over and mainly because the singer was fucking sick...

You could really see he was not very well... (the poor bloke even sneeze during a track)
But despite this, it was very very nice!! very intimate concert and I can't wait to see a longer show with a healthy band!! That would definetly be a happening for me!!

Beauty King IS a beauty :P
And the arts on thier albs are really nice, they must use a very good designer.
You did a good deed, indeed :wink: I am now curious and will search for more. :P
