A whole year without talking about Opeth :P

Watershed is now out... and is so great!! I was never a big fan of them, just knew a few albums, and love some songs, because I'm not very much into the growling voice thing. I do love bands with this style, but with Opeth I always prefered clean voice, like in Damnation.

I heard the new album and I change my mind, haha! They did an excellent job here, and for the first time, I'll go to see them on the US tour :green:

I also loved the bonus tracks on the special edition (thanks, The Last Tony), and I was surprised of the cover song... it's beautiful! Den ständiga resan 8) I never thought it was a song from Marie Fredrikson :flower:

Long live Opeth!

Funny :) I have a bit lost track of Opeth since they released Gohost Reveries, which I didnt find pretty interiesting, but I just came back from a show of Clutch where the keyboard player of Opeth joine dto make some extras layers and it was fabulous :D
this guy is really talented.. even though I Was no fan of what he brought to Ghost Reveries (and Damnation tour was hug e with him), he really added some fucking rock element to Clucth music.. and now you speak about Watershed; I think I should give it a try ;)

We just came back from Denver, and the gig was AMAAAAAAAAAAAAZING!! Sound was great, the venue was nice, lights very cool, and the band so intense, and playing perfectly! The whole set was stunning, I believe it was around two hours. They really rock.

I loved the way Mikael interacts with the audience, he's very funny. I hope thay play in Mexico soon, so we can be on first row ;)

I took some pics and a few videos.

Nice one :D

Glad to see they play Hessian P. (although I'd love to hear it together with Hex O.), that soundtrack-like song is probably my fav from the new material.

Opeth rules.

Hehe... Not a perfect performance, but here you can see a bit of our Opeth tribute working.
I am the little one by the microphone doing the bass aswell. Sorry for the (sometimes) bad clean vocals, control was not alright 100 %...
