Of course.

Also, I agree that there other records that are almost perfect (blood inside, shadows of the sun, svid) but none of them can be compared with Perdition City (which i am listening to right now)

Am i doing a good job Faridee?

Hmm Perdition City was my first encounter, Svidd Nigger OST huanted me for about a year.. and Blood Inside is marvel... actually Ulver is a bit like TG never coming back where you werent expecting them to be... so each record is different to the other and they all have the same dark atmosphere

hmm, I'll check those out. Thanks

So far, I'm impressed by this album (Perdition City). The sax in Lost in Moments is nice.

Lately, I've been obsessed with the other band Garm was in (Arcturus) and it just dawned on me that I've never heard anything by Ulver before. What'dyou folks recommend?

No one's mentioned the William Blake album yet. I haven't heard most of Ulver's more recent work, but Themes from William Blake's "The Marriage of Heaven and Hell" is an early example of the band's flexibility, and preparedness to experiment to achieve a result.

As I wrote earlier, Themes... was a milestone in what Ulver was to develop into. I think my fave at the moment is Blood Inside.. Though they played some tracks of Shadows that made me rediscover the album
