Better than Apathobvious album, closer to Constructions of the Amptrain, The Collibro's atmopheric music is typically Lis Er Stille style, with many breaks changes and wonderful arrangements, never linear. I 'm in love with the songs. Thats' it.
Listen at least to "Send in the Scouts" and "Recalling the Color" and you'll know what I mean.

Amy MacDonald: A Curious Thing.
It was impossible to miss the shelf with that album on it, as it was about one square meter in size, but I almost managed to miss it.
Was an album I'd already been looking forward to for months, and finally in the beginning of March it was released...

But, I am curious whether the people on the TG forum in general like Amy MacDonald. On one side, the music she makes hasn't got anything to do with the style of TG. On the other hand, I could imagine people on this forum to listen Amy MacDonald. Don't ask me why...

You'll be surprised what kind of music we listen here. Amy MacDonald is clearly a talented and creative artist, and as there has been no auto tuning on her voice
throughout the album, this only emphasizes the point. This is very simple Indie-Pop and there are many catchy tunes on this album which makes it nice and easy
listening background music. I like it.

Yeah, I just think of the fact that TG listeners usually have a wide musical taste... :)
The fact that they didn't use ProTools when they were mixing the album is indeed very good, and I must say, I don't hear very many flaws in her new album without ProTools either.

But Indie-Pop, that's mainly her first album. I think her new album is a bit more rock. And I like it. I like her first album as well, but that's more folk. It would be nice when she would add some more extraordinary things in her music, as well. I mean, it's incredibly nice music, but it is quite normal. TG has also some mainstream elements, but they've got some experimental things as well. You know what I mean?

And what are the most 'extreme' bands you listen to? The softest and hardest band, and such?
