For the ones who like electronic music, Allessandro Cortini, which is known for leading Moodwheelmood and playing with Nine Inch Nails, has just released his first solo effort.
Sonoio (sono io = it's me in Italian) is more focussed on sound textures than melody (even if you have some catchy lines ;)) the only organic instrument is Cortini's vocals. Some of the sounds arent without reminding of NIN (with teeth especially)
The whole EP can be listened to online and the first 4 songs are free for download (mp3 320kbps :))

Personally I find it a very good surprise to leave the summer and get into the autumn :)

will check this too.
I started my initiation in true electro world two years ago. it was very difficult to approach this kind of music.
my favourite band is Siniialto. very hard to find stuffs but worth listening to it.

I'm listening to the music video on that page. I find the production a bit dated... But it aint bad musically

cool if you like it... this is dated as it is from 2004 songs. I agree.

I discovered this band through Magyar Posse website

My favourite album is Kuolema from 2007, which i've discovered through a promo CD.

the music got more haunting and psychedelic from this era.

Sonoio is interesting too. Maybe a new music path to me.

OT: mmm... I don't like my stereo ... I have yamaha stuffs (amps and speakers) and it sounds too "metal" in my speakers too (speakers is linked to quality, but so are the cables, as i'm not still in wii music)
I think Yamaha is great for heavy music, the reason why i got it in the past. well mine sound goods

it doesn't suit electro, folk, classic stuffs so well to me.

Currently I plug my laptop/mobile phone to my stereo. I think i miss some range too (not only in the internet) but hey, it is always the mess when i take out all my real good shits in the living room. especially the vinyls and cds.

I agree laptop sucks a bit for music (except with headphones). but it's economical to me.

I never heard Yamaha Speakers but a friend of mine had a Yamaha amp coupled to some Infinity speakers and that was sounding great!! (I have A Marantz to Infinity speakers and I dont complain either ;))

About Sonoio, I'm hesitating to buy the version with the synth and start a carreer as remixer hahaha

SONOIO is a solo project of Alessandro Cortini part of the Nine Inch Nails lineup from 2005 to 2008 and a member of Modwheelmood. SONOIO, which comes from the italian phrase “sono io”, which means “it’s me”, consists of solely Alessandro Cortini. On July 28th, 2010 SONOIO released 4 tracks for free off the upcoming album. The first self titled album was released on September 14th, 2010 and is available from iTunes, Amazon and in various packages direct from sonoio.org. One package includes an electronic instrument called the "SuONOIO" (translated from Italian: "I make sound") which contains samples and sound sources used on the album.
