Οι θρύλοι του progressive rock Rush ανακοίνωσαν την κυκλοφορία της επαναμιξαρισμένης εκδοχής του άλμπουμ "Vapor Trails".

Το "Vapor Trails" είχε κυκλοφορήσει αρχικά τον Μάιο του 2002 και κυκλοφορεί με νέα πλέον μίξη την 1η Οκτωβρίου από την Atlantic/Rhino. Σκοπός αυτής της κίνησης είναι να διορθωθούν κάποιες ηχητικές ατέλειες που υπάρχουν στην αρχική έκδοση.

Δύο από τα κομμάτια του "Vapor Trails" ("One Little Victory", "Earthshine") είχαν κυκλοφορήσει επαναμιξαρισμένα στη συλλογή "Retrospective III" του 2009, προαναγγέλλοντας κατά κάποιον τρόπο το "Vapor Trails (Remixed)".

Εκτός από την μεμονωμένη κυκλοφορία του σε CD, διπλό βινύλιο 180 γραμμαρίων και digital download), το "Vapor Trails (Remixed)" θα περιλαμβάνεται και στο box set "The Studio Albums 1989-2007", το οποίο είναι επίσης προγραμματισμένο να κυκλοφορήσει από την Atlantic / Rhino την 1η Οκτωβρίου.

Ως εκ τούτου, το box set θα περιέχει μαζί με το "Vapor Trails (Remixed)" όλες τις υπόλοιπες studio κυκλοφορίες των Καναδών για την Atlantic Records. Πρόκειται για τα "Presto" (1989), "Roll The Bones" (1991), "Counterparts" (1993), "Test For Echo" (1996), το EP διασκευών "Feedback" (2004) και το "Snakes & Arrows" (2007).
