Wat vinden jullie van die nieuwe band van die Gun's and roses gasten met de zanger van Stone Temple Pilots???? Het klinkt wel ruig!!! Velvet Revolver heet die band, geloof ik!

geef mij dan maar Sonic Youth, geweldig hoe die al vanaf begin jaren tachtig muziek maken en hun underground muziek hebben weten te behouden in hun muziekloopbaan. Alle 5 de bandleden lopen qua leeftijd al ergens in de 40, hopen dat The Gathering 't ook zo lang volhoudt, en liever nog langer natuurlijk

sorry, maar is 't zo belangrijk dat muziek underground blijft? Ik ben blij dat bijvoorbeeld metallica geen underground is, anders konden ze lang niet die vette show bieden die ze maandag hadden (vuurwerk e.d.)

Ja ik las in de krant dat 't best gaaf was... Korn scheen nogal saai te zijn, maar 'tallica heerschte als vanouds?

Natuurlijk vind ik 't nog knapper en mooier en beter dat op een major label als Geffen/Universal alternative/underground music een kans krijgt (wat dus het geval is bij Sonic Youth)

Metallica is zwaaaar jeugdsentiment. De eerste 3 (ik heb ze niet eens op cd, had destijds cassettebandjes) blijven altijd wel bijzonder om die reden en Metallica zal altijd wel een warm plekje bij me hebben. De stukken liveconcert, die ouwe tracks vooral, op tv her en der kreeg ik weer een lekkere rush van.

Een echte fan ben ik echter niet (meer), draai echt nooit Metallica (wel Battery hakken op gitaar 8)) en naar zo'n vee- of bierhal of whatever doe ik sowieso niet graag. De mogelijkheid om ze live in Paradiso ofzo te zien zou ik natuurlijk nooit afslaan. ;)
