Opening van het seizoen voor Hall of Fame in Tilburg, daarnaast de presentatie van de uiteindelijke resultaten van Clip & Klaar (het clipproject van MTV, Brabant Pop en St. Joost) van Lukewarm en Woost. Naast de vertoning van de clips zullen natuurlijk beide bands ook een optreden verzorgen. Het belooft een hele gezellige avond te worden, komt dus allen!

wat voor muziek maakt Woost ongeveer? En klopt 't dat jullie afgelopen januari op het Eurosonic/Noorderslag festival hebben gespeeld?

We maken gelaagde gitaarrock, zeg maar een kruising tussen Motorpsycho, Pink Floyd, Kyuss en Queen..
En inderdaad, we stonden afgelopen Noorderslag in de bloedhete Kelder, na zZz en voor Lawn.

Je kunt een hele zooi nummers downloaden op onze site (zie sig), als je het preciezer wilt weten.. En kom vooral kijken natuurlijk! :)

Hmm, net te horen gekregen dat het gebouw van de Hall of Fame is afgekeurd door de brandweer, de clippresentatie wordt dus verplaatst naar de Cul de Sac, aan de Korte Heuvel in Tilburg...

MEXICO-STAD/MIAMI - Orkaan Ivan heeft Cuba achter zich gelaten. Hij bedreigt nu Mexico en de Verenigde Staten. Volgens het officiële Cubaanse persbureau Prensa Latina zijn er geen berichten over doden of gewonden op het eiland.

Wel heeft de storm gezorgd voor overstromingen. Bomen zijn omgewaaid en elektriciteitsleidingen vernield.


De storm trof Cuba in een dunbevolkt gebied in het uiterste westen van het eiland. De effecten van Ivan waren echter in het hele westen en midden van Cuba te voelen. In de hoofdstad Havana regende het maandag de hele dag.

Ivan bereikt windsnelheden van 260 kilometer per uur. Het opgezweepte water van de Caribische Zee is op sommige plekken 300 meter het land in gedrongen. De kuststreken in de gevarenzone waren geëvacueerd.

Ivan heeft de afgelopen dagen in het Caribisch gebied al zeker zeventig mensenlevens geëist.

Ik denk niet dat ik nu jaloers hoef te zijn dat ik niet in Mexico zit !!
