I write for a webzine so I'm going to shows constantly. I don't keep count but every once in awhile I have to leave one show early so I can hit up another show for an interview.

I said 3-6 but I plan to increase that number greatly. I love going to shows, but I'm usually too lazy to get around to it, unless it's TG, Slayer, or Meshuggah.

currently, it's about 10 gigs per year. but it depends a lot on the bands.

And when it's possible, there is a higher priority for the ones i've never seen...

Well...It depends of the bands that visit Russia
To this time they are not many and are not the ones I want them to be
But in 2006 I've been to:
Korpiklaani
Lake Of Tears
Anathema
and some russian bands which names wouldn't say smth to you..

Helloween
Pyogenesis
and ?
up to go :tw:

3-6, but this number depends from who come to St.-Petersburg with gig .... unfortunately my fav bands (TG, PAIN OF SALVATION, OPETH, FATES WARNING, ANEKDOTEN, PORCUPINE TREE, DREDG, GREEN CARNATION, DREAM THEATER, THE TANGENT, PORTISHEAD, RUSH ) are unknown to wild public in our country. Last gigs i have been were VDGG and ANATHEMA. ..... and i tired from legendary old hard (- art ) rock bands travelled on Russia many times for last years:)

So on 10th of October it was Helloween 8)
Guys were really incredible and I can find no other band of the ones that has been appeared in St.Pete for the last 5 years that could even approach this level..
Here is the setlist:

1.King For A Thousand Years
2.Eagle Fly Free
3.Hell Was Made In Heaven
4.Halloween
5.A Tale That Wasn't Right
6.Drum Solo
7.Mr.Torture
8.If I Could Fly
9.Guitar Solo(Sascha)
10.Power
11.Future World

encore

12.Mrs.God
13.I Want Out

encore 2

14.Dr.Stein

I think they can play 10 shows like that and not repeat a single song..
GREAT

Well... had to take 1-2 since I do go (so the first option wasn't too true) but it's mainly like once every 2nd year since no good bands ever come this far up north and travelling to Stockholm each time I would like to see something is simply too expensive. And that sucks.

Well, though most of the bands come to Mexico City, they come once a year if they are from USA and once every 2, 3, 4 years if they are from Europe, so we don't have here so many concerts as in Europe and no big Festivals here (like old Dynamo and Wacken). But this is not all, the concerts are very expensive, so I just go 1-3 times a year.
