I love her ethereal & touching voice ...

Totally agree!!!! Of course, if we were in the Nightwish forum, the results would be different!

If I want to hear opera voices I listen to operas...
If Tarja was singing in a band that was not a joke...
then she could stand a chance.

Technically Tarja can do more but she has less feeling...
It's like shred in guitar playing... does it make the player good??

I like Anneke better, because her singing has more... emotion, I would say.


Tarja is a good singer too, there's no doubt about it, but Anneke is my favourite.

its quite stupid ( I dont wanna offend anybody, sorry If I do ) a poll like this, dont u think? I mean... this is a The Gathering forum, people are going to vote for Anneke because they like Anneke more than Tarja, not because they are thinking about them both as singers

they sing in a very different way, to compare them??... I dont see the point
I dont like Nightwish at all, Tarja IS a wonderful singer but I DONT LIKE that kind of music and how she sings, besides... I like Floor (After Forever) more than Tarja, and I think she has a better voice than Tarja too

anyway, I voted for Anneke

I don't like opera-style in metal Tarja was my favourite singer for a while but I got bored of this style of singing.

Hmm haha well I can't vote because they're so different you know. I mean what really defines a better singer from another? They both have beautiful voices, both trained. Who am I to say one is better or not? They're both lovely, but I am in love with Anneke so maybe I'd have to vote for her

I didn't vote, because I can't choose. I love both of their voices. I think Anneke has a sorta jazzy voice, Tarja has a more operatic voice.

LOL, Anneke for sure. Tarja has a great voice, but Anneke puts more feeling in the songs.

Of course this is a uselless poll but it's made by a nightwish fan so we just vote.
