Liberty Bell

Outstanding arrangements and wonderfully strange lyrics. Reminds me of one of my fav Pink Floyd's songs "Astronomy Domine"

I'll vote for the hidden track.

joking, hmm my favorite is maybe Frail, and as it hasn't a lot of votes I'll go with it. The guitar launching the song and the vocal line are just the definition of drifting.
Great Ocean Road, Illuminating, Rescue me, Red is a slow colour, My electricity, Marooned and Travel are all great and special songs too. Haven't really been hit by the last songs of the album for the moment.

today i cast my vote for "Htmap?" song.
Such a piece of complexity without boundaries.

Between travel and sand and mercury which one would you choose?

TRAVEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Travel is progressively emotional. I mean it makes me vibe more and more along the rhythms and seconds until the end (last chorus is a glorious cycle), whereas Sand & Mercury does not reach this increasing level of power... it is more various with different atmospheres but the tendency is generally too tragic, especially on the last part of the song.
and, it doesn't sound as great as Travel live! (well to my point of view)

It's a dirty game picking a single track from such a monumental record, but I reckon "Probably Built In The Fifties" would gain my vote.

1. Travel (best Gathering song and one the the very best songs I've ever heard, too)
2. Great Ocean Road (This one must be played live again at all hazards)

I still can't believe they didn't make it on the 'Superheat' live album...
