It used to be You Learn About It, but after some time listening to the album my favorite song is Souvenirs.

I choose "Even The Spirits Are Afraid" 'cause is a very good song and lyric too... but I like "These Good People", "Souvenirs" and "A life all mine" too :-? but the truth is... I like the comlete album!!!! :green:

Initially my choice was Souvenirs.....but lately I've been really stuck on Even the Spirits are Afraid & Jelena.

Really the whole album is simply brilliant....nearly perfect as far as I'm concerned.

I remember when I first picked up "Souvenirs". Up until then I really thought "Broken Glass" on the Black Light District EP was such a beautifully poignant song and the version on this album wouldn't be much different.....but I was wrong. The Souvenirs' version made me burst into tears the first time I heard it and for a while it was hard to listen to that song without doing so. I really enjoy the rhythm guitar part of this song....starting off with the fading in and out and leading into those distant sounding notes (Rene you're such an amazing guitar player. I wish I could have said more when I met you (sigh)) . And the crescendo in this song is amazing! It really gets me when Anneke's voice is gradually trailing off as she's yelling "through the waaaaaatttterrrrrr"; almost like she's being pulled under the water or through a cave and you're standing there listening to her voice fade off into the dark.

My favourite is A life all mine but has only 8% porcent :cry: , almost the same with my other favourite Golden grounds, I love it that song I don`t know whay don`t has much votes :roll: .

TG made it ultra hard with so many good ones. I voted Jelena. Annekes voice is so sensitive at the end, it's breathtaking. However at my first TG gig (2002) they opened with Golden Grounds, at that time new to me, so that one remains special to me too.
