The atmosphere of The big sleep is great, I like how it sounds live. I'll vote for it :D

Undoubtedly "Rescue Me". The guitar and voice on the live version has this haunting echo quality to it that enhances the song 100% compared to the studio version. Gives it more of a "longing" type feel which is quite appropriate considering the lyrics. Toward the end when the song gets more aggressive, the theremin is introduced and the transition from that to the guitar solo I think is a bit better. Here I think all the instruments mesh together in this beautiful chaotic kind of way whereas on the studio version, each individual instrument is equally represented. The combination of the drums/cymbals/rhythm and lead just sound a lot more powerful live. :D

It's 100000 times better live, the aaaa part at the very end, and the solo at the end AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH I love it :D Right now I'm listening to the version from Bochum, the very best as far ;)

I think the live version is better than the original. Though in most cases it's the other way around, but this time I have to agree with you.

Probably...

as someone already said, it is almost better than the original version

some songs are meant to be played live and TG should play them more often. Probably... is inarguably one of them!
