I don't know how to classify my garden. I guess that it's in the nature, cause I e.g. always take the cd player with me when I go for a walk to the forest, that's when I enjoy the music most I guess ;)

I don't have a CD player in my car, so my choice for listening to them at home is somewhat forced.

And I find portable players annoying, even if I end up using them when I spend some days away from home.

Oddly enough, I enjoy listening to TG at work a lot. (I do the billing at a warehouse, BTW.) Partly b/c TG sounds incredible no matter where you're listening to them, & partly b/c as long as I've got it playing, it helps to block out that godawful radio station that's playing on the other side of the warehouse.

Additionally, some of their harder, more rockin' songs (In Motion #1, Adrenaline, Eleanor, etc.) are great for getting the blood going while out for a run.

For me the best place is during a good concert...
But it is also good to listen TG in the car or at home.
I have also listened HTMAP? in front of the sea. It was very great... :D

Well,i live in athens so "in the nature" is out of question :D
I normally listen tg in my room at night, without any light using headphones so i can concentrate 100% to the music...Try it some day,you are completely focused on the music+lyrics and you can hear almost every detail of the song...

Voted for "home", since I like to listen music with my home stereo.

But I also listen music with my walkman. I have especially fond memories of listening to TG while I was in the army. No, I didn't take TG with me to nightly watchhours (unfortunately my discman doesn't work in well in cold), but I listened to tens of albums while travelling from home to army in a bus. Especially How to measure... was a regular soundtrack for these nightly bus travels.

I know exactly what you mean... I did this with Souvenirs the first time I listened it. I felt like floating away, spinning around (and no, I hadn't taken anything) followed by bursting in tears with YLAI. At that point I turned it off simply because I had experienced more emotions than I could deal with (perhaps that sounds pretty weird, but I don't know how to put it otherwise). As the same thing happened to me on subsequent times I listened to Souvenirs, I actually had to let the album start at #5 at some point in order to get to listen to the rest of it.

However listening to Anneke singing live, approximately 2 meters away from you while she's singing Broken Glass just as perfect as on the studio release, as I experienced yesterday, is, shall we say, 'not too bad either...'

Well, besides the obvious answer (which is live at a show), I like listening to records while in the bathtub, and last year Souvenirs was my most played bathroom CD... besides that, TG makes a pretty good band for listening to while makin luuurve
