What Broken Glass version do you prefer?
I voted Broken Glass Souvenirs version because the voice is too high in the other version

The piano version is more raw, it's touching in a rather different way then the album version. It's REALLY difficult to choose, you know. My friend heard the piano version first and said that the album version sucks, because there's too much of everything in it. I like both of them ;)

Piano version !!! :D
It is so wonderful and "pure"... And I found it very interesting that Anneke sing so high ! And the challenge is perfectly completed ! I like this frailty in the voice when so high pitched... :)

I think the same. But Burn says that the album version sounds great live. I dunno but I keep my point of view. :P

In the Souvenirs version I like so much all the sounds, expecially the bass effectes and the drum at the begin...It seems like jazz touch ;)

Both of them for me... I mean the electric and the piano versions...
Because the electric version has something wrong on the album... It's less groovy... while live it just rules! The end solo is just a goose-bumped part and when the bass line of the beginning comes back.. :o Waw! :D

Something wrong?!!? I totally dissagree with that Burn. I do agree that almost all of the songs sound even better live, and often they have a more catchy groove. But there aint nothing wrong with the studioversion just because of that, it's great! I really think bands that play a bit different and more groovy versions live, even if their records are greatlike they were recorded, are the most interesting. Then you get both a special studio and a special live experience.

When I heard the piano version on Black light district, I thought it was a bit dull... But when I heard the album, I understood the song. But then again, neither of the versions are even close my favourites.

to explain it a bit better, I like it live just becaus eyou hear more the interaction between bass and keys in the beginning and it gives more depth to the song imo...
also on souvenirs, I prefer the live arrangments than the studios ones
