I chose 'A Noise Severe', but 'Waking Hour' is quite close.

"In Between". It has this eerie vibe. I swear it sounds familiar but then it doesn't. I might have responded to this post.

:) I voted for "Box" as the greenest song on the album - it's impossible to pick a best song.

"Home", for both its lyrics and beautiful melody

Hard to say between Alone, Waking Hour and Home. I just listened the CD another time and let my feelings tell me the answer.
I finished by voting for Waking Hour because I do like the fragile passage in the end of the song. It's perfect ! I cannot explain it better than carcass*

I reserve the right to vote for a tie: Alone and Waking Hour.

You European soccer ... er ... football fans should be able to appreciate a tie.

I still cannot make up my mind, it seems to change from a period to another.
First one was In Between, which is stable and keeps being so efficious and motivating. Then Waking Hour, with its killer crescendo that goes on and on and on, letting you dry on the floor, assassinated. But I cannot listen to it too often (as some others agreed on). Alone was a new favorite then, perhaps the strongest, this chorus hits me each time, with the exceptionnal electronic bizarre sound.
Your Troubles are over is a bit like In Between, very nice and stable. Home can enter that category too. About Box, well I basically listened to it for an hour on repeat when I discovered it.
Yesterday I realised how A Noise Severe was an amazing song, I highly want to give it my vote, but it's too precipitated... and Forgotten is nice too, even being simple.
Well, I hesitate between Alone, A Noise Severe and In Between.
oh yes I know, I'll give it to the one of these three that has the fewest votes.

Shortest Day

The part where Anneke sings "Ah-aaah...Ah-aaaah--Ohhhh...Oh-ooohhh" gives me shivers!

I still don't swallow Home Cd, I haven't even care to chew it yet. lol
Home has 3 amazing songs those are Alone, A Noise Severe, and the undisputable number one and only (forevah & evah) WAKING HOUR.
The funny thing is I surrended to Waking Hour during the live shows by the third time it brought tears to my eyes.

A noise sever...I think it's the most ''tg'' song on the album...powerful,beautiful,Anneke's breathtaking voice and emotional lyrics.MASTERPIECE!

Alone by far, and Waking Hour a clear second place. Actually these two songs are the only ones I "love", the other ones I just like.
