I don't see a choice like "Home is such a tight album that I listen to it from beggining to end. I can't pick a song - I pick the album!"

Waking Hour

It is the finest song on this album, and one of the best songs ever written, by anyone.

i cast my vote for Forgotten reprise... it's the last song of the album... the one which ends this great album perfectly... and the one for which my inner voice tells me to start playin the LP again.

I agree that it's very difficult to choose the best song from this album. I like all of them :D Thank you very much TG for your art :D

I chose "Forgotten Reprise". I posted this in another topic, but that song brought tears to my eyes when I first heard it. When the song slowly fades out, it feels like all the bad feelings harbored inside are being pulled out of my body and into space. Coming in a close second would be "The Quiet One". This song gave me chills when I first heard it a year? (I don't know how long it's been) ago on the short film. I feel like it would be a really great song to play as a breaking point in a live set (I picture Anneke and Marjolein with dual acoustic guitars and Rene doing the electric part) :green:

I went for A Noise Severe cause it's one of the 3 first songs I've heard (live) and it kicked my ass :green:

Waking Hour is brilliant! However I love the whole CD. I really like Solace but would prefer a version without the voices....

For me this is between Waking Hour and Your Troubles Are Over, so since everybody is going for Waking Hour, Troubles gets my dibs.

Waking Hour.

Already one of my all time favorite songs...now along with Broken Glass.. But I think Waking Hour is better, somehow.

A Noise Severe. One of their best songs, for me...

Forgotten Reprise. It's still the only song on Home that really involves me on any deep emotional level, and the only song with a sufficient hook to truly slay me on the album.
