I've decided it definitely has to be The West Pole, such a beautiful song, it gives me a kind of Home/Amity vibe.

"Capital Of Nowhere" is mediocre in the beginning, but gets much better in the middle, when it steals some of the Pink Floyd legacy. "Pale Tracks" and "A Constant Run" are also great songs, but so far my favourite has been by far "The West Pole". Generally, though, the album hardly meets the band's standards. Way too many average songs.

I voted "Capital of nowhere", but "A constant run","The west pole" and "No one spoke" came very close.
I liked "Treasure" and "All you are" the least.

I pay little to no attention to lyrics so my taste in music is determined by how the music and vocals sound.

Some songs on the album i didnt like to much, some others i really like alot.
But you know, TG had to pull themselves together (again), find a new singer again and, lets say, open a new chapter again. I am saying, Anneke is gone, they have to find a (somewhat) new direction. Doesn't have to mean they are there already with their first new album with Silje...

So, i will be looking forward to their next album.

currently, I hesitate between three different songs in so many points:

When Trust becomes Sound, Pale Traces or A Constant Run

two different singers, three different structures, two different lyrics, three different atmospheres and energies.

A Constant Run is the less original one to me

today's fave is Pale Traces although it's honey, but tomorrow could it be A Constant Run or When Trust for some reason I don't care.

pff... not easy.

Choosing a favourite song is difficult, but the one I keep coming back to is Pale Traces.

Of course "Capital of nowhere" !
Even if it's not sung by Silje, Anne's voice is amazing :)
and the 2nd part of the song reminds me great times of Pink Floyd !

A constant run, its catchy, fun yet serious at the same time, and has a beautiful atmosphere. I actually love the whole album though.

I voted for Capital of Nowhere, cause it was the first song of this album that I listened and also because I love the atmosphere...the guitar.... it gives me a nice feeling.... :flower:
I really like No one Spoke too tho...... it's a difficult choice!!!!!!
as Burn said....it depends on my mood, the weather, etc.....
