'Meltdown'

A taster for the new album is our single 'Meltdown'. Again an epic song which is an emotional plea about how to come to terms with events in life. This time though, we have a brand new voice colouring the song. Frank (our keyboard player) is singing some lyrics as well!
You can listen to 'Meltdown' here: Like 'Heroes for Ghosts' (our previous single released last year) this song is available as a free download at our bandcamp page!

We finished our 10th studio album:

'Disclosure'

'Disclosure' is the most personal soundscape we ever made, lyrically and musically. The album is a great marriage between electronic and organic sounds, and has a wide range of colourfull songs.
With long epic songs we stayed close to ourselves. We are incredible proud of this album which is a reflection of what we do best, and our urge for experiment. The album will be released September 12th and will feature tracks like: Paper Waves, Meltdown, Heroes for Ghosts, Gemini, Missing Seasons, See for Miles, Paralyzed (still in random order). This time the beautiful art work for the album is made by the artist Carlos Vergara Rivera from Chile. The handcrafted cover art is inspired by our song 'Heroes for Ghosts' which we released last year.

Of course, like our other releases in the past, you can already pre-order the new album before it goes on retail.
We made some great exclusive packages, that you can pre-order at our webshop right now. All package orders will get a poster and sticker for free. If you order a Full Package you'll also get a 10 inch vinyl EP: 'Afterlights' for free!
This EP is pressed on coloured vinyl, contains exclusive tracks. It will be hand numbered, and limited to 1000 copies.

Ehi ciao a tutti...è un bel po' che mancavo dal forum. Spero stiate tutti benone.

Il nuovo pezzo dei The Gathering non è male, almeno si sono un po' rinnovati...niente di trascendentale e continuo a sperare in una futura reunion...l'hanno fatta tutti e vuoi mai che non la facciano anche loro?

Vabbeh, aspetto comunque l'uscita dell'album.

Ps: vi saluta Nora, la mia bimba che è nata 8 mesi fa.

Sto ascoltando 'Meltdown' a ripetizione da quando me so' collegata...

Grazie a Monica per il testo, anche se per ora mi sto concentrando sulla musica. Ooops, non mi ero accorta che stava pure sulla pagina dove c'era il link per scaricare il brano

Curioso sentire Frank alla voce nell'apertura del pezzo. Fa molto 'alternative'.

Evocativa e magnetica la voce di Silje dopo i 2 minuti e qualcosa del pezzo... mi ricorda un po' le atmsosfere del brano 'Miniature' che stava sull'ep che accompagnò l'uscita del precedente ''The West Pole''. La tromba poi ci sta benissimo... Un brano nuovamente di lunga durata, pieno di svariate influenze.

Dopo due pezzi come 'Heroes for ghost' e quest'ultimo, ho buone speranze davvero.

Penso che nel week-end preordinerò pure io... e poi mi piace molto l'immagine di copertina che hanno scelto per questo pezzo Solo che non potrò ascoltare il vinile... ora vediamo, ma il cd aggiuntivo e la t-shirt mi piacerebbero davvero, come fatto con il cd precedente...

Hope you are fine and well. Some new info!
This is the final tracklist of our new album 'Disclosure':

We will also release a lim. edition 10 inch vinyl EP called 'Afterlights'. This EP will contain remakes of songs from Disclosure. We used ideas from those songs to build new tracks. 'Afterlights' will have the following tracks:

1. Echoes Keep Growing (remake of 'I Can See Four Miles')
2. Afterlights
3. Tuning In, Fading Out (remake of 'Missing Seasons')
4. Meltdown (radio edit)

Release date Europe: 12 September. USA: 2 October.

Solo 8 pezzi? immagino siano lunghetti stavolta

Uauuuuu, che bella notizia.
Parto felice per le vacanze, aspettando a gloria la metà di settembre allora
Effettivamente entrambe 'Heroes for ghosts' e 'Meltdown' sono brani piuttosto lunghi e d'atmosfera, quindi ci sta che anche i restanti pezzi abbiano la stessa durata e magari il disco contiene meno pezzi per quello... Non ho preordinato, e non ho manco il tempo per farlo, ma come torno dal mare... fisso subito col mio negoziante per avere il cd

Ascoltato una sola volta e con poca attenzione. Anche a parer mio I Can See colpisce subito e poi mi è piaciuta molto anche Paralized.

Non capisco però perchè in streaming si intitolava "I can see four miles" mentre nella track list dell'album presente ora nel web shop il titolo è "See for miles"
