... ma ci pensate alla prima volta che i The GatherinG suonarono in Italia - che poi io confondo sempre l'anno, 1997 o 1998, 10 anni cmq - coi i L.C. di supporto? La scena sarebbe dovuta di gran lunga appartenere ad Anneke, come voce, ma soprattutto ai The GatherinG come proposta musicale, molto più varia e personale, sentita... le cose vanno sempre alla rovescia. Per non parlare dei Seigmen, anche loro avrebbero meritato sorte assai migliore. Ma forse è meglio che Seigmen e The GatherinG siano rimasti gruppi 'per pochi'.

Però ho notato che c'è un gran parlare intorno alla partecipazione di L'Aura a Sanremo... non ricordo se è la prima volta che vi partecipa o la seconda... Ecco, se c'è una cosa che non m'è mai piaciuta di questa competitio musicale, è che il più delle volte si sa già chi vince prima ancora che cominci... Non credo di sbagliarmi. Noia mortale ad ogni modo, a volte ti azzardi a seguirlo e inizianano col primo cantante tipo dopo le 22... Il dopo festival a che ora inizia? La mattina dopo? La gente non ci va a lavorare? Meglio guardarsi un bel film o qualche dvd. Spendono milioni di euro e buona parte dei pezzi che premiano si perdono nel giro di una settimana... Non voglio far di tutta l'erba un fascio, ma insomma.

Meno male che ci sono gli ELIIIIIII :green:

Se la canzone è valida, che L'Aura vinca non mi dispiace affatto.
Se non erro nel primo sanremo a cui ha partecipato con Irraggiungibile nella categoria GIOVANI è stata eliminata in semifinale. Aveva vinto uno che proprio non me piaceva.... :-|

Più che altro perchè, oltre ad essere una con una bellissima voce, è anche una brava musicista e compositrice. Un po' fuori di testa, ma comunque lo è. :D Staremo a sentire.

Io Sanremo lo guardo perchè.... mi ricorda tutti i miei soggiorni all'estero! :D E' sempre stato un punto di riferimento quando ero all'estero, un contatto con l'Italia, visto che Rai Uno si vede ovunque praticamente....

Premesso che io L'Aura la conosco soltanto di nome e magari mi perdo anche un'artista interessante, volevo dire che spesso la gente tende a valutare l'artista e non se il pezzo è valido oppure no, ecco. Staremo a sentire, come dici te. Cioè, io no davvero, c'ho Alec Empire stasera, i Katatonia domani, i Cure ed i Paradise Lost la prox settimana, sto tutta da un'altra parte con la testa. Magari racconterete qualche aneddoto voi da 'ste parti...

Poi l'ho sentita cantare, la prima sera soltanto, perché era dopo il gig di Alec Empire e i Katatonia @ DarkFest ed ero davvero cotta: ha una voce davvero particolare e la canzone ha un bel motivo. Curioso, perché ho trovato L'Aura molto poco elegante nell'abbigliamento, ma fine nelle movenze, mentre la Scabbia era meglio vestita, ma più mascolina... Per il resto, è stata una settimana pessima e non ho seguito il festival, come avevo già detto. Mi sarebbe piaciuto sentire il pezzo dei Tiromancino e di Fabrizio Moro, ma credo che mi capiterà sicuramente nei prossimi giorni. Nel frattempo, credo stiano per dare il nome del vincitore nella categoria giovani: ne ho visto qualcuno e quei due fratelli molto giovani, Sonorha o come si chiamano... ecco, credo che loro li passeranno a sfare per radio o in tv, perché il brano ha un bel tiro.

Tricarico, stonature a parte, beh, la canzone mi piace cavoli! Bella melodia ma soprattutto bellissimo testo! L'esibizione con il mago Forrest sai che un po' mi ha commossa? Vabbè... :roll:

sto risentendo in TV il brano di L'Aura...e non è affatto male...

San remo quest'anno non l'ho seguito se non per la curiosità di sentire elleapostrofoaura ... pero' niente male questo brano...sicuramente dura troppo poco (se i brani nn superano gli 8 minuti non sono contento :D )

Ho appena finito di vedere il film "Friday Night Lights"....
è un film su una squadra di football..ma con colonna sonora degli Explosions In The Sky...

Il film di per sè è carino (se vi piace il genere..anche un pò americanata sinceramente)...ma per tutta la pellicola ci sono le canzoni del gruppo di Austin...(ad un tratto c'è anche New Noise dei Refused).

This music arrived unexpectedly as the result of an experiment. The rules were as follows: 10 weeks, no clear agenda, no overthinking, everything driven by impulse. Whatever happens during that time gets released as... something.

The team: Atticus Ross, Alan Moulder and myself with some help from Alessandro Cortini, Adrian Belew and Brian Viglione. Rob Sheridan collaborated with Artist in Residence (A+R) to create the accompanying visual and physical aesthetic.

We began improvising and let the music decide the direction. Eyes were closed, hands played instruments and it began. Within a matter of days it became clear we were on to something, and a lot of material began appearing. What we thought could be a five song EP became much more. I invited some friends over to join in and we all enjoyed the process of collaborating on this.

The end result is a wildly varied body of music that we're able to present to the world in ways the confines of a major record label would never have allowed - from a 100% DRM-free, high-quality download, to the most luxurious physical package we've ever created.

More volumes of Ghosts are likely to appear in the future.

But rather than abandoning online distribution, Reznor rethought his model. This past weekend, he surprised fans by releasing a new album on his Web site. This time fans have five distinct options, including a free downloadable version which only contains nine songs, a $5 downloadable version with 36 songs, and a $300 version that comes with autographed vinyl records.

Proving again that he’s willing to experiment with new ways of marketing his music – last summer Reznor hid USB drives with an unreleased song in the bathrooms at his concerts – he personally loaded some of his new songs onto an underground filing-trading service.

Another person who businesses could learn something about the Internet from is Senator Barack Obama. “His Web site is amazing,” Rishad Tobaccowala, chief innovation officer for a division of advertising giant Publicis, tells Fortune. Tobaccowala says the way Obama uses his site to engage followers is particularly innovative. For example, he’s willing to embrace messages that didn’t originate with his inner circle. When the band Black Eyed Peas posted a video about Obama on the Internet, he quickly decided to run it on his homepage.

Last Friday’s Journal had another example: The Obama campaign has made available its database of supporters to anyone who wants access to the information. While some bad seeds have misused the information, it’s also empowered local volunteers to make calls on their own, greatly expanding the number of people working for the campaign.
