March 4 208 will see the (short) return of Bauhaus as the band will release their first new studioalbum in 25 years "Going Away White". Not many details are known yet but for those who saw the band live at work in 2005/2006, you will have noticed that they unveiled two new songs: "Adrenaline" and "Endless Summer of the Damned". The band's last album was 1983's "Burning from the Inside" out on Beggars Banquet.

The new album, to be released on the band's own imprint Bauhaus Music, will however also mean the final end of the band. There is also no tour planned to support the release. According to drummer Kevin Haskins in an interview with Billboard.com an incident within the band caused the final split to happen. No details on the incident were revealed.

'A deeper kind of slumber' è un viaggio memorabile.

Notiziona dai Gregor Samsa

New years tend to bring on new things, and this year, it's with great pleasure that we announce the completion of our latest full-length album, Rest. It's been a long, ambitious and challenging project, but one tends to forget all that with the fruits of the labor in hand.

We can't mention this album without also mentioning the huge cast of people that put it together:

Billy Bennett - Drums, Percussion, Guitar, Bass, Vibraphone, Piano, Synth
Champ Bennett - Piano, Voice, Guitar, Drums, Bass, Vibraphone, Mellotron, Celesta,
Synth, Rhodes, String Arrangements
Jeremiah Klinger - Baritone Guitar, Guitar, Clarinet, Piano
Cory Bise - Bass, Baritone
Mia Matsumiya - Violin
Toby Driver - Clarinet, Guitar, Bass, String Arrangements
Andrew Miller - Cello
Alex Aldi - Synth
Alan Weatherhead - Guitar
Rick Alverson - Voice, Titles
Debra Wassum - Voice

Engineered By:
Alex Aldi @ Gigantic
Champ Bennett @ Viking Studios & Pencil Factory

Mixed By:
Alan Weatherhead @ Sound of Music

Mastered By:
Mark Christensen @ Engine Room Audio

Track Listing:
1. The Adolescent
2. Ain Leuh
3. Abutting, Dismantling
4. Company
5. Jeroen Van Aken
6. Rendered Yards
7. Pseudonyms
8. First Mile, Last Mile
9. Du Meine Leise

It will be available to you in a variety of formats as well as a variety of countries in April, or perhaps even sooner (more details on this soon).

Lastly, we'll be taking our 3rd trip to Europe during the month of May. Again, more details soon!
