For the people living in Warsaw (and not  ).

I discovered a very nice restaurant near where i live, with Polish cuisine of course. I'm going there to have dinner also today.
Have a look and, well, this is my advice when you want to eat in some new places: :green:

looks nice, but there must be a reason they dont show prices for those delicious meals on their website :green:
Though ugly on the outside, Warsaw sure's got some cozy interiors

take back what i've said, the prices are indeed reasonable (and it's high time for me to quit using low resolution :-? )

bleeee... i don't like places like this... I prefer smoky, dirty, dark pubs. :green: Yes, maybe i'm strange, but i just don't feel good in places like Sentyment. But I don't say, I'll not try it.

you'd have to add some mindless heavy metal music for me to enjoy and distract from complaining about the smoke 8)

well...reading menu I believe that you have to pay minimum 100pln per person for a dinner :( IT's like Dom Polski or other Tradycja Polska which is quite OK during business meeting (and when company pays for you haha) and rather not for personal meal :)
In fact I prefer to go to Cafe Brama which is not expensive and cuisine is quite OK. And if I need something more extraordinary then Organza,Lemon or Szpilka is good for evening meeting or dinner.

BTW - I found quite good site which can be interesting for Warsaw born people (or those who just live here)....

Quote:
Viva EU! Because of Poland's entry into the EU

on the night of 30.IV / 1.V on the Plac Zamkowy

in Warsaw there will be a concert of Peter Gabriel

(former singer of Genesis and a great solo artist).

For Free!!

yep, that's what they say and I'll be there for sure, but so will other 10-20.000 people or so, and this is no place for gathering (and definetly not for the gigs) of this magnitude

Also, Gabriel will be supproted by our local heroes Blue Cafe who play for completely different and faaaaaar more demanding audience.
It's gonna be a mess for sure, you wont be able to hear/see a thing, but hey, come to think of it - that's our main input, our gift to the EU: irresistable beauty of pure chaos :green:

I've read somewhere that it will be a 'short recital of Peter Gabriel'. I wouldn't expect much.

Well, i don't know at what time the concert will start, but my problem is that at 23,30 i must be at the Presidential Building to participate to the ceremony when the European Flag will be shown... :-? :-?

Sorry again, do you know more information about the concert of Peter Gabriel?

Do you know maybe an internet site where they speak about it (exact hour of beginning, ecc ecc...)????

Thanks!
