Paradise Lost third studio album released originally in 1992. Paradise Lost changed the sound to a more death/trash metal, yet it's still very melodic. “Shades Of God” includes melodic metal, pretty slow, dark & heavy just as it was of their previous album "Gothic". The compositions have become groovier and less complex whereas the guitars sound heavier keeping an intense sense of doom bearing the exceptional signature of Greg Mackintosh. The suffocating dark atmosphere that only Paradise Lost know how to evoke unleashing grey emotions of bleakness and decadent melancholy in the air is as always there."Shades of God" back in 1992 was an album showing the soundscapes that Paradise Lost would explore in the forthcoming future with "Icon" and "Draconian Times", at a primary phase though, but also having a connection with the glorious recent past, a fading one. A must-have for all the Paradise Lost fans and not only!
Tracklist:
1. Mortals Watch the Day
2. Crying for Eternity
3. Embraced
4. Daylight Torn

Label: Metal Mind Records
Cat. No.: MASS CD 1105 DG
Barcode: 5907785030794
Format: CD Digipak (limited edition of 1000 copies)
Genre: gothic/doom/death metal
Release date: 28 January 2008
“Icon” - Paradise Lost fourth album released originally in 1993. The album is marked by a very melancholic atmosphere, which to a big part is created by the incomparable guitar-lines of six-stringers Greg Mackintosh and Aaron Aedy and unmistakable mark Paradise Lost. You cannot call "Icon" a death metal anymore, especially the vocal brutality is missing, but genre-typical vocals would have destroyed much of the atmosphere of the album anyway... With "Icon" the band have re-defined a whole genre and forged their very own style, which is presented in almost perfect fashion here. An absolute classic that each metal-collection should include!
Tracklist:
1. Embers Fire

PARADISE LOST - Draconian Times (Re-release)
Label: Metal Mind Records
Cat. No.: MASS CD 1104 DG
Barcode: 5907785030787
Format: CD Digipak (limited edition of 1000 copies)
Genre: gothic/heavy metal
Release date: 28 January 2008
Re-release of “Draconian Times”, Paradise Lost fifth album from 1995. The album falls between stark, oppressive goth rock and crunching heavy metal. It's a bit more experimental than their earlier efforts, as it displays subtle industrial influences -- there's the occasional barrage of samples -- as well as more keyboards and a chorus, perhaps appropriately dubbed the "Dead Boys Choir." “Draconian Times” is intentionally unwelcoming music, but those who want to dwell deep inside its twisted corridors will find a few pleasures. For many people this album is Paradise Lost’ Magnum Opus. New digipak edition, limited to 1000 copies.
Tracklist:
1. Enchantment
2. Hallowed Land
3. The Last Time
4. Forever Failure
5. Once Solemn
6. Shadowkings
7. Elusive Cure

PARADISE LOST - One Second (Re-release)
Label: Metal Mind Records
Cat. No.: MASS CD 1098 DG
Barcode: 5907785030718
Format: CD Digipak (limited edition of 1000 copies)
Genre: gothic metal/electronica
Release date: 28 January 2008
Re-release of “One Second”, the sixth album release by Paradise Lost. Following “Draconian Times”, the album reflected the group's first complete departure from doom metal, gothic metal and death metal in favor of a more electronica-fused, gothic synth rock direction. Despite the change in style, the album was highly regarded by most critics and gave the group significant exposure in USA. This bold approach has also garnered them many new fans along the way, and cemented the loyalty of progressive "old-timers." While less so in their home country, they have been extremely popular in mainland Europe for many years, especially in Greece and Germany, where they are regarded as mainstream rock stars.
Tracklist:
1. One Second
2. Say Just Words
3. Lydia
4. Mercy
5. Soul Courageous
6. Another Day
7. The Sufferer
8. This Cold Life
9. Blood of Another
10. Disappear
11. Sane
12. Take Me Down
