Hello Gathering collectors,

I have many complete concerts of the Gathering, take a look:

Is there someone with an FTP out there, where I can upload them?

I don't think I can do that with rapidshare.de or megaupload.com as I don`t want to share mp3, but lossless files of my high quality bootlegs of the Gathering.

what a great list. would be awesome if you shared them in lossless quality. i've been looking for a long time for any lossless Gathering bootlegs.

Yes torrents is the best option but not the http://www.dimeadozen.org/ .It's a private server and not all of us have access in there.

you only have to register, then you will have access.

I never had success registering at http://www.dimeadozen.org, also i don't know if this is the better way to share. Too much slow for me.

I was thinking of someone with a FTP, like a circle of fans sharing their rarities. Black Sabbath's fans made one FTP like this and it works great, though it is restricted to a few fans.

Also I'm interested in trading bootleg CD-Rs of the Gathering.
Someone there?

The ftp server idea is good but difficult to be implemented.

I had tried to set up a Ftp server but it wasn't working properly.

The problem is that i have dynamic ip and the no-ip.com or the mozillas' dns servers are not reliable.

But even if it works i can't give upload more than 8kb/s. It's really difficult to have more than one servers (mirror servers), so it will be very slow.

I believe torrents is the best way. You can make the torrent, upload it to the tracker, and for the begining tell it only to one or two users. It will be like you are uploading the files to an ftp server. Then the others will seed and you won't have to seed anymore.

After that the more the users have them the better it spreads.

if dime doesn't work for you, you can also try http://www.yeeshkul.com . it's a tracker mainly for Pink Floyd bootlegs but other bands are allowed there too.

Actually my connection doesn't allow to share or download torrents, I don't know why it is blocked, that's why i was searching for an FTP.

Try some more times registering. Believe us, it's worth it.
The people there are concerned about quality, like
not using MP3s and son on.
And it's not slow at all IMO.

I agree with VS....
The best way to share lossless, video and audio boots is through torrents.
The FTP thefan setup will be nice for the mp3 shows though, and smaller video clips since his bandwidth is limited.
