No, it's working properly. Sometimes though, it might be full so there are wither no slots or not enough bandwidth and there is a time out.

Yesterday and 2 days ago, I noticed some problems with the electricity which caused a router reset and reconnection to the ISP. Maybe this happebed today again while I was at work.

Whatever the reason is, I try to have the server online ASAP and AMAP. There will be a warning and/or announcement on the first post for extended offline time.

i wanted to upload some files, but it kept saying that the pasword wasnt right for user1:test1. how can i upload files to the online ftp link?

To be honest, I think that some times the links are not working as intented (that is through a web browser). Or perhaps there's someone else already using it. There's a 2 connections cap for each user.

But apart from that, you cannot upload connected as user1/2/3. You need to send me a mail or pm with a user name and password you wish to use and I'll create a personal account for you.

Thanks for the support people. I just want you to know that there's a problem with the electricity switch, which causes restart in the whole room. But apart from short disconnects I really hope any hardware isn't damaged someday. FTP will remain online!

Well, I don't know what the problem might be. I have banned some IP addresses. Perhaps you can send me a pm, to see if it matches with any of them or you just tried to connect while max connection count was reached.

The last few months, I have been suffering by problems with the electricity and ISP disconnections. The next days I'm going to be AFK. In case of such an incident described above, I will not be in position to restore the FTP server. Therefore, I ask for your patience once more.

Please, also, keep in mind that I'm moving at the end of August, and establishing a new DSL connection might take too much time. Do, please if you have any long video downloads, finish them ASAP!

I'm sorry to announce this. I'm moving in 2 days time. It was scheduled for the end of the month, but things are fast here.

So, the FTP is going down for some time. I'll stop the service at 00:00 EET (Athens, Istanbul time) on Monday, August 14th 2006 (that's Monday morning).

I'll try to get ADSL again and hopefully it won't take long, unless there are no ADSL ports available. In this case, it might take a couple of months to have ADSL again.

This is for people who don't understand english well.

Some people might not understand english very well and think that FTP is going down permanently, so PLEASE send me some pms with some text in your language that I could add for people to read in their language.

Je suis désolé de l'annoncer. Je déménage dans deux jours. C'était prévu pour la fin du mois, mais les choses vont vite ici.
Donc, le FTP sera inaccessible pendant un certain temps. J'arrêterai le service à minuit (heure d'Athènes et d'Istambul) le lundi 14 août 2006 (lundi matin).
J'essaierai d'avoir l'ADSL à nouveau et avec un peu de chance ça ne prendra pas longtemps, sauf si il n'y a plus de ports ADSL disponibles. Dans ce cas, cela pourrait prendre un ou deux mois pour avoir l'ADSL à nouveau.
