@creeping death: The inbuilt tracker works fine, i used it for many torrents, but there seems to be some misconfiguration - hard to figure out from here. SOmetimes i loose connection to you but normally its comes back. Maybe your connection limit is too low, mabe a firewall problem, maybe your ISP is one of the "bad ones" trying to block P2P networks.

For the ones really dont get into to torrent:
If waiting for some time doesnt help you can try to change the tracker manually to mine here.
For just having one computer here i couldnt test if it works but you can give it a try: (azureus only)
-right-click onto the torrent line,
-in the popup menu seek something like "advanced" or "more"
(have the german version, so i dunno the english name of the submenu)
- choose tracker
- choose something like "edit tracker URL"
- a menu comes , double click onto Creeping Deaths Tracker "http://fade.no-ip.org:6969/announce"
- change to mine "http://feedback67.dyndns.org:6969/announce"

Maybe this helps. You can see which tracker youre useing via double click the torrent line on the first page of the torrent details.

Great to hear that it's working for you guys. I just changed something else here that might help too.

I wonder if it would be hard, though to make a new torrent file and host this on a public tracker with ours also as backups. I wouldn't want to screw up the people already downloading from our trackers.

I just noticed 4 new people have started the torrent. It looks like a couple are on dial-up! I guess things are working okay now. If anyone is still having trouble, please let me know.

Thanks guys! Lucas, I think it's great that Mark kept the audio recording after the show. It really shows the special atmosphere that was there that night. And about the menu, I figured I would keep it familiar looking 8)

If anyone wants to make cover art for this, I will put a link in the first post.

Great job with the covers! Nice that you made a choice of designs. There is however, a spelling error. It says live in Vastaa... it should be Vantaa. Also, perhaps it should say left to pursue a personal project rather than endure a personal project.

Thanks again!

Hel, the torrent is quite easy to do. Once you understand it, you will have access to a whole new world of stuff. Just download azureus. Then download the .torrent file in my first post. Then you can open the .torrent file and azureus will start up and ask you where to save the DVD. The .torrent file is not the DVD, it just tells azureus what computer (tracker) to look at to get the DVD. Hope that helps.

This is going well. People are seeding and lots of people are downloading. I've already uploaded more than 60 GB!

Have you installed azureus yet? Once you do that, it will associate itself with .torrent files so from that point on .torrent will open in azureus. At that point, you can download the .torrent and your browser will give you the option to open it when it's done downloading from rapidshare.

Right now I am using all of my connection to distribute this via torrent. So, that will have to wait until this activity calms down. Besides, bittorrent is the most efficient way to distribute large amounts of data like this. I really think you should try to get over this hurdle.
