Just a "whatgigamIvisitingsoon" - topic with telling your feelings about the gigs after and things like that.
I hope it won't turn to a "goddamn wish I could be there"-top' just sharing what you've seen and heard.
OK my April plans:
Right now I'm preparing myself for a travel to Krakow where I hope to catch the Porcupine Tree - Anathema tour. Really curious 'cause I haven't seen PT yet but I like how they sound. A great band, I'm looking forward to the meeting :P
No comment about Anathema... this guys walk on the stage and then I can't stop smiling like an idiot :green: Love :flower:
And after it at the end of April Pain of Salvation also comes to Budapest. The same as by PT. Only 4 weeks 8)

What gigs do you plan to see in April?

I´ll be seeing Kari Bremnes at least two times on her German tour this month. I´ve already got tickets for her shows in Mülheim/Ruhr and Bochum and it will be great! :D
On her last German tour in January 2004, I´ve seen her 3 times and then again at a festival in Germany at the end of July. She´s one of my favourite female vocalists and a fascinating live artist. She will be accompanied again by two excellent musicians: Bengt-Egil Hanssen on keyboards and Helge Andreas Norbakken (he used to play in Mari Boine´s band until 1998) on percussion/drums. I just wish she would sing all her songs in the original Norwegian version (instead of English) on her German tour!

there are rumours that earlier that day (Apr 15th) they'll be promoting their new album in Media Markt (major music store) by playing small acoustic set

Quite a few good gigs coming up for me actually. :D

Looking forward to the next couple months as I've only been to 2 shows so far this year. :-|

Tomorrow night I plan to see KREATOR / VADER. A few other bands also, but those are the two I'm going for.

Possibly OVERKILL the next day if my friend can manage to get tickets (sold out) Same deal with KING DIAMOND in a few weeks...also sold out but maybe can score tickets.
Would kind of like to see GARBAGE in Wash DC (the day before King Diamond), but isn't looking good for that. Sold out also and will be hard to get in without paying lots of $$.

1st weekend next month I plan to see SODOM in Minneapolis. Quite a few other bands on the fest that will be nice to see also (Sadus / The Chasm / Dew-Scented , Novermbers' Doom etc...) I plan to see KREATOR / VADER once again the day after the fest in VA

Not to get too far ahead, but looking forward to seeing TESTAMENT early June in VA as it's the classic lineup w/ Alex Skolnick (The Legacy / New Order era).

And last, but certainly not least...VERY excited to se TG in Amsterdam next month :green:

I think they are going to hate me at work with all the time I'll be taking off for gigs soon 8)

Ojje I was talking only about April...
OK here it goes the rest as far as I see now:
The Gathering - May
Dream Theater - June (very expensive for me :( but they play open-air and I know a tree there from which I can see the stage and hear everything :D Just to see Mr. Myung working  )
Opeth - August
..and I hope this list isn't complete at all for the summer :P

My friends I planned to go with want to stay there for 3 days... for me it's unfortunately impossible 'cause I don't want to be killed by 2 bands I'm playing in that day :x :x :x :x :x

uh, that's a pity Daeron ... maybe you can delay your gig, can't you?

whether you may have to wait patiently for the next show... so bad.
