The Gathering
Last Show With Anneke
Ankkarock Festival
Vantaa, Finland
August 4, 2007

Video: NTSC
Audio: LPCM Stereo

Running time 76.5 minutes

Download the torrent here:
http://www.demonoid.me/files/details/2861519/

On the night of this show, I had the idea to make a DVD using all the handheld camera footage I could find. It took until now to finish, but it has been well worth the effort.

To make this, I have used all the videos you have seen before and some you have not. Most of the shots are from the very front of the crowd, in with all the forum members who traveled the world to be at this show. There were also contributions from youtube members, and you will see some footage that they have not shared before.

To me, though the biggest difference between this and other releases of the show is the sound quality. Marcotoronto recorded the show on a stereo audio recorder right in front of the stage. The location of it left it a bit muffled, so I have done some remastering of it so you can't tell. This is the first time this audio has been released.

I explained some of this in the credits, in case some trader gets this ten years from now he will know what it is.

Cycling colours videos: Ziz, LordCliff, Marcotoronto, Lukaz
Youtube contributors: mythago666, pniofskrubu, AlexPtic, tinkiezone

Maybe over the next week or so I will put this on youtube. Don't do it for me, I would rather do it from my project files and avoid another generation copy loss.

Come and get it! Feedback is already helping me seed the torrent.

*edit*
Maiden Lord was kind enough to create some cover artwork for this DVD. This artwork is now included in the torrent.

Thank you sooo much, I'm so happy to see this concert in good quality!! :D :D :D

I started downloading with uTorrent, there are 2 peers now, but my download doesn't start, is it normal? On the Events window there's: HTTP seeds for multi file torrents are not supported. Anyone knows what it means? :-|

Try a newer Torrent software, i'd like to recommend "azureus". Its available
for Linux, Mac and windoze

I downloaded the program, but the download hasn't started yet.. do I have to do anything other than add the file to azureus?

I had problems too with those multi files. But the Azureus advice did solve the problem.
I use Kubuntu linux and it is in the repos. So it was an easy install.
I'm on 50% now and I'm glad I filled the fridge with a lot of beer. It's going to be a long long night. ^_^
THX

ps: I had a sneaky preview in the first vob file. Soooo promising !

do you use a firewall?
If yes you have to open a port for azureus.
In auzureus you can check via <tools><nat firewall test> and check
if azureus can be connected.
There you also can see which port has to be opened.

Thanks for all the comments today everyone! And thanks Thomas for providing tech support to everyone!

I was not home today to monitor the situation. So whatever connection problems you may have had just worked themselves out on their own. I took a drive down to Washington DC and did some sight seeing today. It was so beautiful outside, just like a summer day. I needed to relax after a marathon of finishing this DVD this week.

I'm so glad you like it!

My computer is always on, and I have a huge connection. So, spread the word!

I have the same problem, I use uTorrent and I got the Offline (timed out) message in the Tracker Status... I try with Azureus and I got the same.
Any ideas?

I'm not sure what could be wrong. Everything is configured properly here as far as I can tell. I am using the tracker that is built into azureus and hosting with my own computer. It may be worth it to try downloading with azureus, or at least get the latest version of utorrent running and try that. If it is confirmed that my tracker only works with azureus then I will move the hosting to a public tracker.
