ho no they are not alternative... they went more avant garde style.. actually what they do is unique for me...
And I love how they end their performance.... Once the last note has been played, you get this

I just love it :)

The new album, to be released in 2011, is called "Critical Geography".

Yeah, they'll play in Nederlanden; a friend of mine is going to get me a Tour Shirt (like last time) and the new album :D :D :D .

I've seen them last Tuesday in Bochum....
they played the whole new album even though it's not released yet... wonderful... you could get a vinyl after the show... so well, it's spinning like crazy since :-) I LOVE it!

Who says I didn't get the vinyl? ;) Nice, on the Mr V forum a couple of guys said the new album wasn't very good, but I'm sure I'll like it.

Well, it's different cause probably the most accessible work they've done... but the long Ulver listener will also not be surprised 100%.
To me it's obvious this album was made with live performance in mind. So it's less layered/complicated in my opinion.. but less is more!

I wouldn't say the new one is the most accessible they've done…, some tracks are pretty hard to get into.

That's true, but soundwise and how the album opens seems pretty accessible.. but then again..
Yesterday I heard a song and the first thing that came to my mind was "I can find beauty in noise" LOL
