er.. TER is the only company that actually sells LP of Souvenirs under licence from Psychonaut...
maybe they did a reprint of the LP...

It'd be nice if they sent out the inserts with the lyrics on them... seeing as how it's not really the item they advertise.

I looked for the first time on the site of The End Records and I have to say that they are really cheap :o
It would be hardly possible to see these prices somewhere else.
I'm curious about prices of new TG's e-shop, however when I know that the band gets the main part, the price is not important :)

agree with you.

got this LP by accident in a music store (was looking for another one lol)... it was a special day for me too. lucky, the piece was new, sealed, for 13 euros box. like a special sign, i couldnt believe it, a really big chance so no way to ignore it. it was the same price as TER site one (without delivery payment so a bit cheaper i guess)...

this E-store will be interesting and fair ... for sure

nevertheless, i'll keep on buying stuffs at the gigs merchandising... but not only for prices and parts reasons... to tell you truth, i dont pay much attention to which parts will be given to the band when i go to a gig... (maybe i should make up my way of thinking toward the band)
anyway, I just dont think "money" at all... i think "music" and "good time" TG gigs are always very special music days for me.
moreover, as i cant go so oftenly to their concerts, buying something there give me greater memories to remind of.

Yeah and that said, I expect some goodies to be bought at the May 16th show that I'm attending. Can't wait.

Well, on top of everything my vinyl copy of this album sounds a bit distorted when there's lots of treble in the music... sometimes when Anneke's singing. I don't know what it is, other vinyl sounds just fine on my player...

I'll be selling this copy and buying another at a show if I can find one.

This is just too much of a hassle.

Sadly a lot of modern vinyl seems to be a hit and miss affair as far as quality is concerned :-? Still better than the crappy modern CD masterings though

Yeah I'm sorry to say buying another copy probably won't fix the sound because mine sounds like that too. The whole Souvenirs experience is marred by bad mixing and mastering imo.

^^ Unfortunately true imo.Was just listening to the Souvenirs CD and while the mastering is certainly not the absolute worst I've heard,it suffers from digital compression and lack of dynamic range.

Oh. Thanks for warning me then, before I sold it or something.

I'll save my pennies for other TG merch.

I found the CD to be alright. It sounds... "different" from the others, even Home, but it still didn't bother me as much as the problem I had with the vinyl.

Anyway, thank you guys for all your input. This place is very helpful.

What's with the extra song "Telson"? I'd check it out myself, but my Souvenirs vinyl is staying sealed. Is it just that two minute bit hidden at the beginning of the CD?

Thanks, Burn. I thought I was actually missing a song there for a minute.

And oddly enough, I didn't realize the extra track was on there until two days after I bought the record.

Does anyone know where I can still buy this?

It is the only vinyl missing from my TG collection.
