was there. it was very very good. I am sorry not take pictures, not recording things for you... because I don't like it anymore cause finally you don't have fun.
hope someone else will answer you so that you can find some stuffs and recordings.

Me? I don't care. I'd rather enjoying music like I enjoy life.

Moreover a gig is not a place for taking pictures or recording/taping music when you are a real fan. For many years, It's a place to exchange and to feed some energy : between you, the audience, the band and its music. that's all. this is important to me.

and when it comes to my favourite bands (TG or PJ), it is simply impossible. Music just manipulates.

These who take pictures or records stuffs... well do love doing it and it's great.
but they just forget to enjoy the music the real it is, or they just don't enjoy it sorry... and i think it's weird, especially when it supposes to be the main reason why they came to a gig.

Tha's very true!
I used to record some stuffs or make 50 pictures in one gig... But then you get irriated by people who scream around you (when you want to record) or annoyed by people dancing (so you miss your shot)...
Nowadays I just sometimes I get my camera out to make on or two pictures.. but that's it... ;-)
I also get upset by people who stand before me with a camera or phone in the air for 10 minutes or so... hahaha

But as noise.severe asked, I would also like to see some of that showcase stuff ;) It must have been quite special :D

I know what you mean, I totally agree. I never take pics/videos, it's just me and the music, nothing else.

Well, I thinks it's a personal position of everybody. If you don't like to make records, don't make them... But I find quite strange to say that person who makes them is not a "real fan" or something like that. It is very easy to say that you should only enjoy the music and not waste your time for recording if you have an opportunity to visit the shows of your favorite band. But if I know that I won't have a chance to go there in nearest future, well... I am so glad that there are people who make these records despite music and great atmosphere around them. Without them, I won't ever get an idea how some of my favorite bands (which don't exist now) look live. So I can just kindly thank them.

As a photographer I have to add a little into this thread, it's simply a matter of attitude. I myself am very passionate about photography and love to experience a show through a lens... the emotions on stage are quite often very real and with a camera they sometimes get really close only making the overall experience only more intense.

Then again. I do have high end gear and am not relying on camera phones and the likes. Of course.. you can't dance around like most other people but there is plenty of enjoyment for me in taking pictures at a gig. And sometimes I just leave the camera at home.

But speaking for myself and plenty other photographers out there.. we very much do enjoy a gig when we are there. Just in a slightly different way.

Photographing, enjoying music, dancing even painting are different worlds... I agree ... that's my view too... sensitively. I love all and practising all. The difference is ... when i take pictures during holidays or a gig, or whatever, I pay attention not to disturb people around me. it's also their environment. It's not mine only.

The light, the moves, the details, fading, zooming are important... but how about the vibes, pressure variations, energy from pure music played live by a band? I say so cause to most of the gigs i've been too, many photographers i met didn't care about music fans. They are always at the nearest of the stage, showing their camera like showing their d_ck, hidding the large view to the audience and building a passage for themselves. Rare are those to apologies when they disturb a dancer whose sphere is broken between him/her and the band...forgotting the experience of the real music and that's a pity. On the other hand that's not fair cause i let them a passage when they need to click...
So I think this is a matter of attitude too. but this one is more selfish too.

I go more for respect than attitude

Now i'm sorry if i disturb you at this gig, I'm a big mover, dancer, screamer... i don't like staying static. i enjoy life... Music always canalizes my spirit. I think that's why me and many people who love music pay their ticket for, don't yo think?.
the aim of a listener going to a gig, is listening to music. this is the base. but as i told you before, that's my view.

Those are not the types of photographers I was talking about. Those are the types that do anything without regards for others as long as they can get their shot.

Many others, myself included try to keep other visitors in mind as much as possible. But we also move around and yeah sometimes you will bump into someone. But the same thing could happen just as well when someone is going to get a drink.

There will always be selfish and annoying people.. wether they have a camera or not.

ahhhh... I totally disagree with these reviewer.. we loved the accoustic gig.
these listener are not opened enough to focus on minimalist music. whatever..
So what have they expected for... SB part 2? pff..
This 100% accoustic performance was genius.

but as it is a metal music website ... je me fous bien de leur gueule.

The trio should record a mini LP. yeap! lol

anyway thanks for the link Sofia.
