Ο Μίκυ Μάους δεν ήταν πάντοτε ποντίκι

Ο Μίκυ Μάους δημιουργήθηκε το 1928 στις ΗΠΑ από τον Ουώλτ Ντίσνεϊ και τον Ουμπ Άιγουερκς, αλλά φαίνεται ότι δεν ήταν εξαρχής... ποντίκι! Μάλιστα, καλά διαβάσατε. Το αγαπημένο καρτούν του Ντίσνεϊ, που κρατά εδώ και δεκαετίες συντροφιά σε μικρούς και μεγάλους με τις περιπέτειές του, ξεκίνησε την καριέρα του ως... κουνέλι! Ένα παλιό σκίτσο του Ντίσνεϊ που βρέθηκε σε κάποιο βρετανικό αρχείο αλλάζει εντελώς... τον ρου της ιστορίας, καθώς αποδεικνύει ότι ο προκάτοχος του Μίκυ Μάους ήταν ο Όσβαλντ, το τυχερό κουνέλι (Oswald, the Lucky Rabbit). Ο εν λόγω ήρωας δημιουργήθηκε από τον Ντίσνεϊ πριν ακόμη συστήσει την εταιρεία του και, όπως θα δείτε και στο βίντεο που ακολουθεί, η συμπεριφορά του, οι αντιδράσεις του, ακόμη και οι γκριμάτσες και οι χειρονομίες του θυμίζουν τον Μίκυ, που τον αντικατέστησε στη συνέχεια!
