Ha, that was the most pointless film i ever saw! Thought it was utter self-indulgent tripe myself, i take it you did actually like it?

Oh, there was definitely many points in that movie and they weren't subtle. I don't think I need to explain the many depictions of social dysfunctions from bulemia to psychotic violence. And the visuals were amazing (without any special effects)

Hahaha! Wow... Not only are all people here The Gathering fans but also sport a terrific taste when it comes to movies, I've found so many of my favorite movies here in your lists.
Did anyone mention the movie "The Gathering" starring Christina Ricci? Not the greatest movie of all time by any means, but it has an intriguing synopsis at least, and the title of the movie made me run to see it straight away...

Moonraker 8) ('til the half a crappy JB film, then a cool StarWars parody) :P :tw: :tw: :tw:

Hey noone's perfect.
Even me, I'm a big fan of Ace Ventura and generally all early Jim Carrey movies (and the late ones of course, but this is expected). And I even consider Hudson Hawk (w/Bruce Willis) one of my all-time favourites! See? 8)

Since Johnny Depp was mentioned, I'll have to mention one of my favorite movies, The Ninth Gate
Great movie with great characters, atmosphere.
