Well, at least now I don't feel that bad...
I just remember when that old couple shrinks and starts chasing that woman and then the grow up again... I had no clue what was going on

Anyway... Big Fish is indeed a GREAT movie... Tim Burton really knows his business...

I recently watched Hero, with Jet Li... one word: AMAZING! I didn't like the whole imperialist message from the movie, but it's still an amazing work of art...

I don't know if someone else has already recommended it, but my advice goes to FERRO 3 (actually, I don't know the title in English) by Kim Ki-duk. Out in 2004.

The first you have to see is VERSUS! See it and you'l never forget it. I'll never forget the first time I saw it. I searched a long time to find a band and when I found THE GATHERING I thought: WOW! That's what I was looking for and I never forget the first time. When I saw this Movie it was exactly the same thing: WOW! That's the movie I was looking for! :green:

Hell yeah! Kate Beckinsale is the hottest vampire I've ever seen.

I'd also like to add "Travellers & Magicians" to the list, the 1st film ever filmed entirely in Bhutan.

Baraka, I can hardly describe it. But it's a really amazing movie.
It has been filmed in 24 countries. There's no talking during the movie, just music (mostly ambient music, and Dead can dance appears on the BO twice). The aim is to watch and explore the world as it is today.

I highly recommend it :)

I totally agree...no words needed there it says much more than words...Amazing film!

Gotta check out "City Lights," Charlie Chaplin's masterpiece from 1931. Has the best ending scene ever filmed. You WILL be in tears, I guarantee.

i didn't like this one... there's no story at all... many ridiculous fightings ... also the actors are so bad. :green: :surprised:

Tae Guk Gi (Brotherhood)...

not fond of war movies except the Dear Hunter and Platoon... but i liked that one ... probably because there 's no patriotism

I think all movies with Rutger Hauer are great (even if they are not :D ), espacially Blade Runner and Hitcher. His best movie is of course Soldier of Orange, a dutch masterpiece!
I also like Quentin Tarentino movies, highlight so far: Pulp Fiction, absolutly brilliant movie.

Further more:
Ocean's 11 (have't seen 12 yet)
Casino
Once upon a time in Mexico
El Mariachi
Desperado
3000 Miles to Graceland
51st State
Swordfish
Snatch (Brat Pitt is hilarious!!!)
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
xXx
Pitch Black
Chronicles of Riddick
X-Men I+II
Hellraiser I,II and III (then it's getting silly  )
Green Mile
Shawshank Redemption
Alien 1-4
Matrix
Lord of the Rings

and many more....

Preacher
